I invite you now to pause and find a comfortable position to rest in.
Sitting,
Lying or standing.
Any position that feels comfortable to you.
Eyes can be open or closed.
If they are open you might like to lower your eyes or gently soften your gaze.
And really taking that little bit of extra time to find comfort and ease in your position.
Is there anything that you could do to make yourself just that little bit more comfortable and at ease?
And as you're resting here in comfort and ease take a moment to notice,
To sense how you're fully supported by the surface your body is resting on.
And perhaps sensing as you're resting here the way the breath moves the body.
Not trying to change anything or make anything happen.
Just sensing the way the body is gently moved by the breath.
Noticing perhaps how when the in-breath arrives the belly gently expands.
And then as the breath leaves the body the belly gently releases.
In-breath belly rising,
Out-breath belly releasing.
Resting at ease.
The body breathing itself and being with everything just as it is.
Nothing you need to know or do or have to make this moment any more perfect than it already is.
And as you're resting here in comfort and ease take a moment to notice,
To feel this moment any more perfect than it already is.
Everything is just as it is.
And yourself just as you are.
And before you return to your day know that you can pause like this at any time during your day and connect in with this inner experience of calm,
Stillness and ease.
It's always here waiting for you no matter what the circumstances of life.
Whenever you take a moment to pause and be present.
