Thanks for showing up today.

I know it seems like you're always booked.

It's giving something to prove.

But what do I know?

Today we're going to take a breather,

Decrease inflammation in your brain,

And give your muscles a rest,

Especially the ones in your neck and eyes.

The strain is real.

Then we're going to create flow with our breath and decompression to the God's baby.

Because you deserve,

You deserve,

This meditation was designed to do sitting at your desk or lying on your couch.

Let's start with letting your arms fall to the side,

Palms in your lap.

Eyes closed for calming purposes,

Palms facing up and shoulders dropping down even deeper.

There's nothing to fight or flee here and no reason to stay frozen.

Take note of your internal rhythms.

A suffocated mind is an anxious mind.

Give yourself some air.

Breathe into your head space and let it all go.

Taking a few minutes to do this is more beneficial to your overall productivity and quality of life than just about anything else you could possibly be doing right now.

You're a human,

Not a mountain.

Movement is crucial.

And as you're relaxing deeper into this moment,

Gently tilt your head from side to side,

Ear to shoulder,

Relaxing your neck,

Allowing blood to flow,

Muscles to stretch and stress to dissolve.

With your eyes still closed,

I'd like you to clasp your hands together over your head and reach as high as you can,

Opening your entire core,

Feeling a release in your upper back and shoulders,

Letting blood flow,

Hormones balance and space to be created.

Do this and breathe into any stuckness or stiffness you may feel.

Losing your chest,

Making room for more love.

Take some time here improvising.

One movement may lead to another.

Just feel through this and allow your intuition to guide you.

Now,

Whenever you're ready,

Let your arms fall heavily to your sides and take a moment to thank your mind and body for operating at such an optimal level for all these years.

They've done so much,

And this is your time to send love to all the overworked and under-acknowledged parts of you.

Give them the floor.

Send love,

Allowing your body and mind this balance.

Immerse yourself in the peace available to you now.

Let everything be Columbia,

Ridgebhof,

And you And just a few reminders.

This job you're doing is made up.

The protocols,

The tasks,

The stress,

The rules,

The politics.

All man-made.

You are a soul.

You are nature.

A micro-Earth.

Completely organic,

Beyond cosmic.

You are the universe in motion.

The creator of it all.

The Jhanae Sikwah.

Breathe and open.

Your boss is not mad at you.

Your coworker wasn't short with you because they're mad at you.

That client already had their mind made up.

They have their own pressures,

Life anxieties,

99 problems and you ain't one.

Steady yourself into that relief.

And we're all out here doing the best we can.

The same way you have burdens,

Unfavorable conditioning,

A daunting inner voice,

And a whirlwind of factors contributing to your daily life,

So does everyone else you encounter.

Now keep that in mind the next time you go taking things personally.

The biggest assumptions humans make is that everyone sees life the way we do.

We assume others think the way we think and feel the way we feel.

Everyone lives in their own dream.

And they are in a completely different world from the one you live in.

Taking things personally is the max expression of selfishness because we make the assumption that everything is about me.

The way we see the world is the way we see ourselves.

And someone's judgment of you is simply a reflection of their internal state.

But you decide how you show up.

Are you a faucet or a drain?

Solution and strength-based?

Or the problem?

Baby,

Are you the drama?

You can decide to be different.

Every passing moment is an opportunity to shift,

To start fresh,

To be better.

Use this time as a reset.

Emerge new and different as an elevated you.

Anything that has already happened is the past.

Leave it there.

And just for today,

Give yourself and others a little grace.

No one is judging you the way you think they are.

Beating yourself up or pushing so hard you burn out will only leave you resentful,

Distracted,

And completely ineffective.

Be mindful that this time here is a gift,

And your meditation practice is a gateway to a whole new world of being.

Not everyone has discovered this gift,

And it's okay for you to be the light in the room,

To elevate the energy to match your own.

Let your smile be contagious.

Your authenticity speak for itself.

Be kind,

Expect the best from your day,

And be impeccable with your words as they are spells.

Know that in the small amount of time you took today to recalibrate and honor yourself,

You have healed.

Elevated and grown,

You are not the same you who walked in here 10 minutes ago.

Be still and know that you are loved,

Admired,

Respected,

Rooted for,

Wanted,

And valued.

Spend most of your time where you feel most of these things.

Everything is all right.

When you open your eyes,

Life will be clearer,

Brighter,

Easier,

Healthier,

And more miraculous.

I love you.

Go be magnificent.
