Take a few moments to find a comfortable seat,

Or you may decide to recline and do this short visualization in a supine posture.

If you are seated,

Take a moment to find a tall posture of dignity and nobility.

If you are lying on your back,

Allow your limbs to take up space on the surface of your mat or on the floor beneath your body.

And then slowly begin to close the lids of your eyes.

Commit to yourself now to the next moment of self-study and introspection.

Once you begin to feel the somatic structure settle,

Tap into your breathing.

Let the breath be breathed through the front or upper side of your body and feel every exhalation be pulled down and washed through the base or the foundation of your body,

The back side or the floor of your pelvis.

Sense the calming of your nervous system all the way out to the periphery.

As the sheath of your skin begins to soften,

Sense how the musculature softens underneath,

How the bones gently separate from one another,

Creating more space inside of each joint.

And then each system begins to slow,

Still working perfectly for you.

Each system begins to soften and simmer in the weight of their own rhythm.

Gently bring your attention to the tips of each toe.

Upper foot,

Sole of the foot.

And then feel the upper legs and the lower legs begin to relax as your attention washes over the lower body.

Feel the wings of your pelvis expand earthward towards the floor.

And sense the navel all the way around to the spine,

The whole waistline expand with each inhale.

And gently surrender downward with each exhale.

The whole case of the ribs widen.

The shoulder from right to left,

Collarbone to collarbone,

Gently heavies to the weight of gravity.

Each arm channel softens,

The fingertips uncurl.

And the entire portal of the neck widens to accept a greater breath in and a greater breath out.

Wrap your attention around the back of your neck,

Around the base of the head,

And all the way around to the forehead,

The eyebrows,

The bridge of your nose,

And the crest of your lips.

Sense your chin and the whole face relax.

And now for a moment sense your whole body come online.

Your entire body is bathed in your loving attention.

Now let us tap into our internal wisdom and gain a better understanding of our potency through our thoughts and their imagery,

Their underlying meaning and curated beliefs.

Let us understand the root of who we are and in turn the energy that propels us into who we will be.

We use this visualization to understand the challenges also of our thoughts and in turn altering our core beliefs and creating great change within ourselves and also without of our physical body.

Now take a moment to imagine yourself many years from now.

Confident,

Successful,

Living,

Walking and breathing your desires,

Your dreams.

Be very detailed now and visualize this.

Use all five senses to create this picture within your body.

See them.

Hear them.

What are they wearing?

What are they doing?

Notice their relationships and the way they move and interact with each relationship.

And now see yourself as you are today in present time approaching them,

Your future self.

Take a moment to play this out.

You walking into the life of your future self as if you were a perfect double of this future being.

And now notice your future self turn towards you.

They notice you.

You come face to face with this future being.

You get close enough to them you can notice the color of their irises,

The wrinkles around their eyes,

Lips,

Chin and forehead.

You can sense the warmth of their skin.

You might even embrace your future self.

And now take a moment to ask your future self for one single piece of advice,

One single piece of information that you feel would be beneficial for you in this present moment.

What does your inner elder or future self say?

What does your inner elder or future self reply?

Listen.

And once you've received the message,

Thank your inner elder.

Embrace them in full faith and gratitude for this information.

And let this feeling of internal knowing radiate throughout your entire somatic structure.

Take a moment to sit with this message and as the words fade,

Allow the emotions and feelings to still exist.

What does this feel like inside of your body?

And now begin to allow the breath to swirl around these feelings and emotions and gently guide you back to the surface of your own skin in present time,

Seated or lying down.

Feel as though this message is now being infused into your structure in the now,

In the here and the now.

You become the creator with this pearl of wisdom,

This piece of advice.

Feel as though this message is carried through the breath and touches into each part,

Each system,

Each corner,

Each edge of you,

Of your body,

As though you begin to move and embody this wisdom through the skin and then through the way that you relate to your external world.

Allow your attention now to come back to that which is holding you up,

The floor,

Your mat,

A chair,

And give yourself a few moments to surface fully awake in present time.

Our visualization is now complete.
