Hello beautiful friend.

If you are on a healing or awakening journey,

Tapping is a practice that holds so much goodness for you.

And I am so honored to share more about it with you.

I'm going to share a brief introduction to what EFT tapping is,

How to do it,

And the life shifting benefits of it.

If you found your way here to learn how to tap through my guided tapping rituals,

Keep listening.

I'll be walking you through exactly how to do it.

So what is EFT tapping?

Tapping is an energetic practice that is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine and is grounded in the same science as acupuncture.

With tapping,

You use the pressure of your fingertips and a gentle tapping motion to activate the meridian points.

Tapping combines the wisdom of ancient Chinese acupressure with modern day psychology and is designed to help restore balance to your energetic body.

So while tapping is a more modern day practice,

The wisdom behind it is thousands of years old.

It is ancient,

Truly.

Tapping is incredible for anxiety,

Fear,

Overwhelm,

And seasons of high stress.

As you tap on and activate the meridian points,

You are calming your nervous system.

You're helping to regulate your nervous system,

Which is why it's a really beautiful practice to do before sleep and anytime you're feeling especially triggered or activated in your body.

Tapping is also a really beautiful tool for shifting physical,

Mental,

And emotional pain or discomfort.

You can use it for everything from easing a headache to reprogramming beliefs to processing and releasing trauma,

Pain,

Shame,

Anger,

And really any emotions that may be held or trapped in the body.

In traditional Chinese medicine,

It is believed that qi or your life energy,

What I refer to as your soul's essence,

Flows through the meridians in the body.

You can think of the meridians like highways that we drive on and just like the highways we drive on,

Your energy can become stuck or slow or stagnant,

Trapped even in the body.

Tapping helps to free up this flow of stuck and blocked energy.

As this freeing up of that energy happens,

You can experience the release of it as you're tapping in many different ways.

Some of those ways are through yawning,

Burping,

Crying,

Laughing.

You may feel chills,

Heat rising,

Or other physical sensations,

Or you may feel a really strong desire to move your body.

Not only is tapping incredible for calming and regulating the nervous system and for your healing work,

It's also a really beautiful practice to raise your vibration,

To drop into a deep,

Deep space of presence,

To connect with intuition,

And really for all aspects of your spiritual awakening journey.

So now that you understand just how amazing and powerful this practice really is,

How do you do it?

There are nine foundational points in tapping.

Once you know these nine points,

You are ready to start tapping.

So I am going to guide you through them now.

I recommend writing them down.

Make a note that you can easily access so that as you're tapping,

You can easily reference that list until you have the points memorized.

The meridians you are going to be tapping on run down both sides of your body,

So you can tap on either side and you can use either hand.

Do whatever feels best for you.

As you're tapping,

Only a light pressure is needed.

Think of pressing a button,

Not too hard,

Not too soft.

You can tap on each point for as long as you desire.

Personally,

I really love slowing down and allowing myself to tap through the points at a pace and rhythm that feels best,

And that's often really slow.

But the rule of thumb is that you want to tap on each point at least five to seven times to activate it.

Again,

If you are flowing through any of my guided tapping rituals or are breathing or speaking out loud as you are tapping on the points,

You are easily going to be tapping on the point each point five to seven times.

So don't feel like this is something that you need to count.

So let's go through the points together now.

I invite you to pause and write them down and also practice tapping through them as I guide you through them.

Since you aren't able to see me tapping and guiding you through the points,

I am going to try to be as detailed as possible in terms of describing each point to you.

Many of them are very easy to understand and pretty self-explanatory.

The first point is the side of hand point.

This point is on the side of your hand underneath your pinky finger.

If you are looking at your right hand with your palm up facing you,

It is the left edge of your palm right there underneath your pinky.

You will tap on this point with your fingertips to activate it.

I typically use my middle and pointer finger together to tap on most all of the points.

And I will let you know if that's different on any point.

So you're tapping right here on the side of hand point to begin.

Point number two is the eyebrow point.

This point is right inside of each eyebrow above your nose.

Again there's two points here.

You can tap on both or one.

Whatever feels best for you.

Point number three is the side of eye point.

It's on the side of your eye where your temple is.

This is on both sides of your face.

Again you can tap on both at the same time or simply tap on one.

Whatever feels best.

Point number four is the under eye point.

This point is right underneath each eye.

Point number five is the under nose point.

And just like it sounds,

It is right underneath your nose and above your upper lip.

Right there in that space in between.

Point number six is the chin point.

This point is right between your chin and your bottom lip.

Point number seven is your collarbone point.

If you feel for the two pointy parts of your collarbone that stick up underneath your throat,

The clavicle there,

These points are about an inch below each point.

So you can tap on both sides.

I typically use the tips of all of my four fingers,

Not including the thumb,

To activate these points.

Or another favorite way to tap on and activate this point is just with an open palm tapping there in the center of your chest.

Point number eight is the underarm point.

This point is on the side of your body,

On each side,

Under your armpit.

It's about three to four inches below the bottom of your armpit,

Or where a bra line would be.

Right there on the side of the body.

And the last point,

Point number nine,

Is the top of head point.

This point is in the very center top of your head.

Again,

You can tap on this point with your fingertips to activate it,

Or you can tap with an open palm,

Whatever feels best.

Beautiful my love,

That's it.

Now that you know the points,

You are ready to tap.

Pretty simple,

Right?

And yet the results are truly profound.

Tapping through all of the points is one round of tapping.

As you're tapping,

You can move through multiple rounds over and over and over again,

Tapping through each point.

You can have many rounds of tapping in one tapping ritual or session.

Tapping really is such a simple yet profound practice to add to your daily life and to support yourself in your healing and awakening journey.

So enjoy my love,

And I hope to tap with you soon.
