Welcome to this guided meditation to help you open,
Allow,
And potentially receive a power word to use going forward.
So let's begin our practice today with a relaxation,
A brief relaxation period in which we're letting the body soften,
Relax,
Open,
And prepare to receive.
Connecting with your breath consciously,
Breathing in and breathing out.
Feeling yourself fully exhale,
Perhaps noticing that you exhale just a little bit longer than you inhale for a couple more breaths.
With every breath,
You want to begin to soften,
Relax,
And allow yourself to bring into your beingness a sense of letting go.
Letting go into this moment,
Into the space that you're sitting in,
And into the sense of a deeper aspect of yourself.
Coming up to the crown of your head and noticing your scalp,
Letting it soften and relax,
Letting your face soften and relax,
Letting go,
Letting go in the jaw,
The mouth,
The cheeks,
Your eyes,
Letting your lips gently part,
Softening your throat and your neck.
And as you exhale,
Allow your shoulders to drop,
Relax,
And let go.
Softening your chest,
Your shoulders,
Your upper back,
Noticing your heart and your heart space,
Telling your heart to let go,
To open,
And to prepare to receive.
Softening and letting go in your arms,
Your hands,
Your palms,
Softening your belly,
Letting the breath drop all the way deeply into a big belly breath in and out.
Softening your lower back,
Your hips,
Down deep into your pelvis,
Softening,
Opening,
Relaxing,
And letting go.
Softening your legs,
Your thighs,
Your knees,
Letting go in your calves,
Releasing any tension,
Any tightness,
Softening in your ankles,
Your feet,
Noticing the bottom of your feet,
Letting the bottom of your feet soften,
Open,
And let go,
Allowing yourself to gently scan your body,
Looking for any place that feels tense or tight or tired,
And taking one to three breaths and breathing into that space,
Imagining yourself letting go there,
Releasing,
Opening,
And allowing new energy to flow up into that space from other places in your body.
Now just noticing how you feel all over,
Inviting yourself to open and soften and let go and surrender into this moment,
Into this time,
Into this place,
Into this meditation fully and in a state of embodied awareness.
In embodied awareness,
Your whole body is awake,
Alive.
You could travel down quickly to your right big toe and notice that it's awake,
Alive,
And open.
You could travel to your left knee and notice that it's alive,
Awake,
And open.
You could travel up to your lower back and notice that it's alive,
Awake,
And open.
And traveling up to your right shoulder,
The back of your shoulder blade,
And noticing,
Feeling,
Sensing that it is alive,
Awake,
And open,
Softening your forehead,
And noticing that it is alive,
Awake,
And open.
Coming down into your heart,
Bringing attention fully into heart space,
Space in the middle of your chest where your heart resides,
Letting it soften,
Open,
Bringing the attention that you're ready to receive,
Listening to these words,
Repeating if you want to quietly,
Aloud,
Inside,
Or just listening,
And holding the intention.
As I bring my attention up above my head,
I open to the place where my soul rests and awaits my attention.
In that space,
I am connected to all of the universe,
The infinite well of wisdom,
And I allow myself to open to that space and place,
Allowing it to connect with me wholly and fully,
To allow my physical body to become a receptor of any wisdom that's being shared in this space,
In this place,
In this time,
Right now.
And as I sit,
I invite a word to come through,
A word that allows me to be more fully expressed,
To more fully connect with myself in the deepest of ways,
A word that can help guide me,
Can help me to grow,
That can help me to be more self-aware,
That can help me expand into a more full sense of all that I am and all that I have within me to bring forth.
As I open to receive this word,
I know this word will be just right for this time,
This space,
And this place for which I'm seeking guidance.
And now I gently rest my attention in my heart.
I open and allow,
As I breathe,
I know that I am ready to receive anything now that could come through that is meant for me.
Breathe and relax,
Staying open as we gently close our time together.
Know that you're welcomed to stay longer,
As long as you like,
Encouraging yourself,
Just as I have led you here,
To stay open,
Ready to receive.
If you feel that it's complete,
If you've received a word,
Guidance,
Allow yourself to take some time afterwards to bring that forth,
Maybe to write notes about that,
To embrace your word for the gift that you received during this meditation.
And as I take leave,
I invite you to stay for as long as you'd like and go forth with your word or the intention to find your word,
To receive your word in the right time,
In the right place.
Thank you for being with me.
