Hello.

Hello.

How is everyone today?

Welcome to our session today.

It is Reiki infused meditation for empaths.

I am very excited to be here and looking forward to our time together today.

If this is our first time working together,

My name is Laura and I have been a yoga teacher for over 10 years,

A Reiki practitioner for over 20.

And I grew up working with Tarot and have been recently,

I guess,

In the last about five years,

Been working as a numerologist.

And my passion is just working with all these different forms of energy and really blending them together.

So that is my hope for you today is that we can work with the energy that is present today to allow ourselves to connect with our body and then allow ourselves to also drop into those softer and more subtle parts of ourselves as we are moving through our day and really coming in into this place of being centered and intentional as we move through today's energy.

Really?

Ooh,

It's funny.

It didn't land at first.

I was like trying to sit with the energy.

And then all of a sudden about 15 minutes as I was meditating before we came in.

So this is it.

So this is Caitlin first time here with you.

This stuff is so interesting to be here.

I'm so glad to have you here too.

Caitlin.

Yeah,

This,

But this stuff is really fun to just get,

Just get curious,

Just get curious and allow yourself to experience letting go of any intentions of what it should look like.

And actually that is very much the energy that is coming in today.

So if you'd like to say hello in the chat,

Let me know if this is your first time,

If you want to let me know where you're coming from,

I'm in Southern California right now,

Also about me.

I am a homeschooling mom of two and we travel quite a bit.

So for me,

My practice is a lot about being able to have something that,

That is very simple and doesn't require a lot of things because I'm often on the go.

And just wanting something where I can drop in on a daily basis without having too much complexity around it,

Because there's already enough complexity in my life.

So I don't know if you guys can resonate with that or not.

Awesome.

Caitlin Hudson,

Valley,

New York.

Sweet.

And so we're here to just really make it as simple as possible to drop in as deeply as possible in the time that we have together.

Like I explained before,

We pull in,

We're going to move into a little bit of movement in a moment.

It's a seated practice.

So no worries about having a bunch of stuff.

And I always bring in a little bit of numerology because we work with the,

The energy of the day,

But then I also bring in a tarot card.

I see a tarot card as being the storyteller.

So today's energy is that of the seven and the jack of hearts.

So seven is all about trusting and taking action.

Seven can,

We always have an empowered and a disempowered side,

Right?

So the empowered side is that the seven is very curious.

They love to learn,

But then they're,

They implement,

It's an implementation.

It's bringing knowledge in and then putting it into action and then seeing the results,

Being impartial to results.

And then just continuing that cycle,

Right?

Learning through action.

Where seven can get stuck is in the eternal learner,

Right?

Who here has taken a million courses,

Always thinks they need to read one more book,

One more thing.

And what I love about this practice is that it allows you to implement all of those things that you learn and feel and have a,

Like a physical experience,

A spiritual experience of that integration of being an integrity.

So that is my hope for you today.

As we move into this with the jack of hearts,

It's a lot about being,

Can we be playful with this energy?

Can we allow ourselves to sometimes we can come in with this incredible intention of I need X,

Y,

And Z from today,

And then clinging on to expectations of how it's all going to play out.

So instead,

Can you come in with a little bit of curiosity,

A little bit of playfulness without trying to manipulate the results of how can we just come in and just notice,

Just notice what's going on for ourselves.

So for us as empaths,

Especially we often notice what's going on out here.

So the challenge and the offering today in a very big way is how can we come inside and how can we just notice what's going on for us?

So let's go ahead and take a moment to get comfortable.

I'm all about just whatever props you need.

If there are cozy things that you want to bring in,

Just make sure you're comfortable in a seated position here.

And we're just going to tap into our breath for just a moment.

So I'd love if you'd like to take the hands to heart center.

And we'll ground in here.

So taking a nice deep breath in through the nose.

And we'll exhale out.

Beautiful.

Just knowing our little intellectual side,

Right?

We're calming that nervous system down.

We rush to get places sometimes.

So often it's a hurry up to settle in.

So let's take a minute to just let our bodies settle in and be here.

So breathing in again through the nose.

There's nothing else to do or be just exhaling out all those expectations.

Last breath.

Exhale out through the mouth.

Beautiful.

All right,

Let's take a moment here.

I love to just check in with the body and just start to notice.

So open up the arms,

Nice and big.

Let the gaze go up towards the sky.

Big inhale here through heart center,

Opening that heart,

Allowing in that playfulness,

That curiosity.

Then as we exhale,

Give yourself a big hug.

So really round through the heart.

So we're going to take a deep breath in through the nose.

And we're going to open up the arms nice and big.

Let the gaze go up towards the sky.

And then as we exhale,

Grab onto those shoulder blades and draw them down.

So tucking the chin,

Releasing any tension that you may feel here and just breathe into that back body for three breaths.

Just noticing any tension or tightness.

Letting those shoulders drop down in a way,

Maybe shaking that head no a little bit.

And your next inhale,

Open it up,

Crossing the opposite arm over the top.

Big inhale here,

Exhale,

Cross.

Okay.

So opposite arm over the top.

Again,

Tuck the chin.

And again,

Come into that breath.

So we're creating some space,

Releasing any tension that we're noticing in the body here.

Maybe it's between the shoulder blades,

Or maybe it's a little bit more in the neck.

Or maybe it just feels comfortable and comforting to give yourself a nice big hug at the start of our day.

With each exhale,

Just offering that invitation for the body to settle and to ground.

That rhythmic breath,

Just allowing the mind to start to slow.

Okay.

So go ahead and release the arms here for a moment.

An invitation to place the hands on heart.

We're going to explore the breath,

But also the inner space within ourselves,

Allowing ourselves to take up more space.

So often the world and its demands and other people's kind of expectations,

Tend to creep in and create a sense of compression,

Right?

We're going to create a sense of expansion this morning.

So take the hands at heart center and just breathe into the palms.

So breathing in here.

Beautiful.

Feeling free to close the eyes if it feels comfortable.

Let yourself go into that internal space.

Maybe even imagining a color as it starts to filter in through the crown,

Through the body.

Go ahead and place the hands now on the ribs.

As you breathe,

Feel that expansion of the ribs and really breathing in here.

Allowing that breath to draw in a little bit more.

Two more breaths here.

So inhale into those palms of the hands,

Creating that expansion and spaciousness within the torso.

Beautiful.

And now onto the belly.

So we're going to take a deep breath in,

And then we're going to take a deep breath out.

And then we're going to take a deep breath in,

And then we're going to take a deep breath out.

And now onto the belly.

So three breaths here.

Just allowing that energy,

That spaciousness,

Infiltrate,

Imagining that color that you've brought in.

Breathing into the hands on the belly.

Letting the belly be soft and round with each inhale.

Beautiful.

All right.

So let's take a moment to go ahead and find the place that is most comfortable for you.

So always the invitation,

If you feel comfortable seated,

You can stay here,

But always feel free to go ahead and lay down.

You can take some,

Like a blanket as a bolster,

Some pillows,

Just a rest.

We'll be here for the next 20 minutes.

So you want to make sure that you're comfortable.

And with the body being still,

It might get cool.

So make sure you have a blanket or something to cover over you,

So you can be as comfortable as possible.

So I'll be channeling some Reiki in as I move through the guided meditation.

So allowing yourself to find that comfortable seat or resting place.

Allowing yourself to find the rhythm of the breath once again.

A gentle inhale through the nose.

That soft,

Gentle exhale.

And taking a moment just to remember what kind of came in for you as that check-in was occurring.

Is there something that stood out,

A place in the body?

Maybe there was a little bit of a narrative running through the mind.

What is it that feels like there needs to be a little bit of tenderness or attention brought to that space today?

So our sessions are always a co-creative experience.

So recognizing that with the breath and with your intention,

You can guide the energy to those spaces that need that nurturance and that nourishment.

So again,

That beautiful inhale through the nose.

Exhale out.

Bringing that awareness to the crown of the head.

Maybe imagining a healing color for you today.

What color would that be?

As we move through our practice,

Allowing it to infuse every part of your being.

So inhaling here,

Opening to the energy to draw in through the crown.

Awareness to the space between the brow.

Letting worry turn into wonder.

Criticism into curiosity.

As we allow that space to soften,

We open the opportunity for our intuition to come flowing in.

Trusting that there is nothing to do.

That our spirit knows exactly where the energy needs to go.

Allowing a little space between the teeth so the jaw can soften.

Allowing a little space between the teeth so the jaw can soften.

Moving that energy down to the throat.

Connecting our intuition with our inner voice.

Knowing that this space and time this morning will allow our voice to be heard.

Coming down to the heart center.

Take a moment,

Let those shoulders drop down and away from the ears and let them settle back.

So opening that heart space.

Allowing ourselves to be open,

To receive.

Any messages that need to come in today for our higher good.

For happiness,

For health.

Tapping into our solar plexus here.

Just below the sternum.

Coming into that place of confidence and clarity.

And with that confidence,

We are able to access our creativity,

Our passion,

A sense of expansion and expression.

So as we breathe here,

As you come into that place of openness,

So as we breathe here,

As you come into that place of confidence,

Of clarity,

Of heartfelt knowing,

Really start to ground that energy.

Again,

As we said,

This seven is all about that taking action.

We are trusting our intuition,

Our inner self,

That inner voice.

It's our inability to let go of that worry and trust that all that is needed is on its way.

Today there is also an invitation to really let go of these external factors we often depend on to create a sense of security.

What would it look like if you were able to move forward each step throughout your day knowing that all you needed was within.

Getting curious about what a sense of balance or a sense of ease means for you.

But more specifically,

What that means for you in this very moment.

What that means for you in this very moment.

Recognizing that as we move through our day and have different encounters,

That our needs may change and vacillate.

Can we build a sense of trust within our own being that we have the capacity to show up for ourselves?

That we have the ability to hold boundaries,

Not walls,

Not impermeable walls,

But boundaries that allow us to maintain our sense of self,

To stay in integrity with what we know works for us as our own individual being.

Releasing any need for perfection,

Releasing any need for perfection and really being able to have a clear sense of our motivation and our intention as we move through each and every moment.

Letting go of our attachment to the external world,

Allowing ourselves to embrace our internal world and really get curious and just explore what it means for you to be in alignment.

Just breathing here.

Allow for yourself to take up just a little bit more space.

Coming back to that healing color that you envisioned for yourself and almost like water,

Letting it fill the cracks,

The sands of time.

And almost like water,

Letting it fill the cracks,

The spaces and let it expand.

Envisioning this color,

Just infusing every part of your being,

Allowing this to be a moment of self-discovery,

Of noticing or maybe just simply witnessing what is.

Letting go the weight of the world and allowing yourself to simply witness the beauty that is you.

Take a moment to envision a place where you feel most at peace.

Tap into your senses as you envision through your mind's eye,

The colors,

Maybe the smells or sounds that you hear,

What you would experience through touch,

Maybe even taste.

Allow yourself to immerse fully into this experience for just a few moments,

A few breaths.

Is there an essence to the energy that you're experiencing right now?

Is there a word that you can give to the experience maybe ease or peacefulness,

Tenderness or joy?

See if there's a word that comes to mind.

Take a moment to bring awareness back to the heart.

Take a moment to bring awareness back to the heart center.

Taking this experience and this word,

This essence of energy that you have tapped into today and as we hold this in the heart,

We allow ourselves to connect with its essence so that way we can seek and find,

Get playful today as you move through and see if you can match that energy through experiences,

Through connections,

Through conversations,

Or maybe even just times of quiet with the self.

Taking a moment to come back to the breath,

Big inhale through the nose.

Exhale out.

Slowly allowing yourself to come back to the awareness of the body.

Maybe bringing a little bit of movement into the fingers and the toes.

If you need to bring in a little bit of a body stretch as we get ready to come back into the room,

Into our day,

Into one another.

So feeling free to come back to seated.

I'd love to close our practice with a shared breath.

So hands together or hands at heart.

Nice deep breath in through the nose.

Exhale out.

May you be happy,

May you be healthy,

May you be free from suffering and may you know peace.

Thank you all so much for coming today.

I hope that you had a beautiful session today and I am just so honored that you decided to spend your morning with me.

So thank you.

I often usually actually share the tarot card in the beginning and I didn't.

So I just want to let you know,

This is the tarot card that came in,

Which was justice.

And for me,

And maybe you were able to get from the meditation that a lot of it was for me,

At first it feels that weight of needing to balance,

Right?

We're trying to balance all of the things and it often feels like it needs to be that perfection of three grains in here and three grains in here.

But really it's about bringing that state of balance through constantly assessing and getting curious and being playful about what we need right now,

Because that changes and vacillates through our day.

Caitlin Namaste.

Yes.

Thank you,

Jane.

That was lovely.

Thank you.

Started following your profile here.

Wonderful.

Worry to wonder.

Yes.

Criticism to curiosity.

Yeah,

I got to work on that one often.

Don't be critical.

Let's see how we can just get curious about this.

Look at different perspectives,

Right?

Different views.

I love when you guys share what kind of landed for you,

Right?

Yeah.

It's tricky sometimes.

We are all human.

So it's a lot about bringing that compassion in as well,

Right?

That playful heart often.

And again,

As empaths,

We often can project this and hold space for others and be so tender and compassionate and listeners and all these things,

Right?

But then when it comes to being that for ourselves,

Often there can be that criticism,

Right?

Or just there is no capacity left because we have given so much throughout our day.

So it's so important to tap in to ourselves and really check in to what it is that we need.

But what really came in for me today was that need for simplicity.

So trusting that what we have within is all we need.

You're welcome,

Suzanne.

Thank you so much for coming today.

And we don't need to make it complicated.

Working with yoga and all these different things,

I find like the idea of like rituals and all these.

I love having all the things like the rings and the bracelets and the crystals and all the pretty things all around and the pictures or books and all the things.

And it makes me feel better when I have all the things around.

But I don't like that feeling of feeling like I need to be dependent in order to create a sense of groundedness within me.

What happens if I forget the stone?

What happens if I can't find my ring,

Right?

I still have this ability to access those things through my body,

Through my breath.

I can check in.

I can create different states of being using my breath,

Right?

We can work more on the inhale to create a more brightened state of being.

I can really focus on the exhale to allow myself to ground.

I can focus on opening my heart so there can be a little bit more compassion.

But remembering that there is our receiving heart as well as our giving heart,

Right?

We need to make sure that it is this flow of energy.

And then that way we have this flexibility to vacillate and move and be really flexible throughout our days and still be sourced,

Be resourced,

Right?

Is anything coming in for you guys?

So often I just want to hear what you guys are experiencing or what's landing for you.

Jane,

You're welcome.

Love all the hearts coming in.

Thank you.

It's really good knowing that what lands for me lands for you.

It's such a beautiful opportunity every time we come in and check in.

I'm a homeschooling mom and this week we started school and man,

Was it a practice of letting go,

Especially when that justice,

That balance piece of things came in.

I was trying to make things so exact and follow schedules and make sure all these things were happening and really coming in and having to tap back into what was the experience I was trying to create for my children and for me to be selfish,

Right?

And it's good to be selfish sometimes.

We can allow ourselves to enjoy the process.

So how can we create a more gentle environment for ourselves?

So yesterday I focused a lot on creating a sense of home,

Right?

And then today was that the seven energy,

That trust is like,

Can we step away from needing things?

So needing things to be an exact way in our environment to also create a sense of home within.

So for me today,

I personally have a busy day.

My kids need to be a little bit more on their own.

So I don't have the ability to create that structure around them to make sure everything's getting done.

But I have to trust,

Let's fingers crossed,

They're going to get their stuff done while I'm here with you,

Right?

So I can be free and open and easy.

But also trust that there is space for all these things to coexist.

And so often we compartmentalize.

And I know I'm very guilty of that.

So it's an invitation to let it all flow.

So I hope you guys have a wonderful day and that you are nice and beautifully grounded as you move through.

And not only are you able to hold space for others,

But more importantly,

Can you hold space for yourself as you move through the day,

Maintain those boundaries so that way you can maintain that sense of feeling sourced and grounded.

Oh,

Susie.

My beautiful Susie is here.

So good to see you all.

I look forward to seeing you next week.

And have a beautiful week.

Take care.
