Good morning,

My name is Laura and I'm going to guide you through positive affirmations to help you set yourself up for a wonderful day.

Before we begin,

Go ahead and get into a comfortable position,

Sitting upright with a straight spine.

And then you can either close your eyes or gaze softly down in front of you.

And let's take three slow,

Deep breaths together.

Go ahead and breathe in,

Filling up your belly like you're blowing up a balloon.

And then slowly exhale out of your mouth.

Again,

Slow breath in,

Into the belly.

And slowly breathe out.

And one more,

Breathe in.

And breathe out.

Beautiful.

Now you can just breathe normally.

Now all you have to do is repeat the sentences after me,

And you can say them out loud or just in your head.

And I invite you to bring one hand to your heart,

As that can feel really nice.

Okay,

Here we go.

I believe in myself.

I am worthy of love and respect.

I am beautiful inside and out.

I accept and appreciate myself.

I am unique and special.

I am loved.

My feelings matter.

I am brave.

I am strong.

I am creative.

I am a good person.

I can do hard things.

It's okay to make mistakes.

My best is enough.

I am proud of myself.

I am important.

Today is a great day.

And just notice how you feel when you say those kind,

Positive words to yourself.

Good.

Taking these positive feelings with you into the rest of your day,

Start to come back to the present moment.

And whenever you feel ready,

You can gently open your eyes.
