Welcome to practice.

My name is Kylie.

Sometimes life pulls us in all directions physically,

Emotionally,

Spiritually.

This meditation is your time to return back to your center.

To come home.

To come back to you.

You're not here to fix,

To solve or to force anything.

This is your time to remember your center.

The stillness beneath the chaos of your life.

The stillness that sits in your inner world just waiting.

So find a posture that feels comfortable and supportive.

Nourish yourself with a few pillows and blankets and as you settle in,

Let your body begin to soften.

Just one degree and one millimeter at a time.

This is your time.

Your space.

You don't need to be everything for everyone right now.

Be aware of the sounds around you.

The space that you're in.

Just feel into that.

And where your body touches the ground.

Closing the eyes if that's comfortable to you.

Begin taking a long,

Slow,

Intentional breath.

Feel the breath all the way down to your belly.

In through your nose.

And exhale softly and slowly from your mouth.

Consciously following the rhythm of your breath.

Just with a natural cycle.

And dropping a little deeper into yourself each time.

Keep softening your body with every breath.

Your breath becomes your compass into your body so you can release one thread of tension.

Pressure that you've been holding on to.

One string of expectation.

This is your time maybe just to unravel yourself.

Bring your hand to your heart and one to your belly.

And remind yourself that this is where you live.

This is your home.

This is your safe space to return to.

Moving your awareness to your head.

Invite ease and quiet.

Stop the mind ruminating and whirling.

Try to have your mind be nothing.

Soften your jaws.

Your eye.

And feel all the tension that you've been holding on to.

This is your time to stop doing now.

You've done enough.

Time to replenish.

Move to your hands.

Just free them from the holding on so tightly.

The gripping and stop reaching and let them rest too.

And with awareness at your belly,

Any flutters,

Any swirling,

Any unease.

Let all of that go to just with a breath.

Breathe it all out and let all of that anxiety and unburden yourself to beautiful Mother Earth and let her hold all that you have been carrying for so long.

Just keep breathing here.

Invite softness across your whole body.

Heartbeat by heartbeat.

Breath by breath.

These words is a soft current of consciousness in and through your body.

Warming.

Soothing.

Just keep returning to your center but now with a little bit more grace and steadiness.

You don't need to keep running,

Fighting or giving.

Your center belongs to you.

Your safe space to return to with love and compassion.

Your sanctuary,

Your center is your sanctuary.

On the days when the world is rocky,

You have somewhere to remember.

When you're most fragile,

Simply with breath return.

And begin to take some deeper breaths now as you tune back into and make a decision if you're ready to return or if you'd prefer to stay here a little longer.

Pause this recording now if you want to stay.

But if you're ready with a little bit more steadiness in your heart and soul,

Stretch your arms,

Your legs,

Your fingers and your toes.

Let yourself emerge a little stronger,

Maybe a little wiser,

Maybe feeling a little better.

I hope you enjoyed this practice from my patch in the sunlight to yours.

With love,

Kylie.

This is for K-E-B.
