Give your body permission to settle, to release, to relax, and then invite your mind to learn stillness from your body. How is it to pour the contents of your mind down through your body, to be dissolved and released?

So taking a moment to check your your seating arrangement,

Making sure that you are comfortable in your seat,

Making any adjustments you need to make,

Making sure that your back feels supported,

Your legs feel supported,

Resting your arms on on your thighs or on the arms of your chair,

Maybe just in your lap.

Closing your eyes either fully or partially,

Whatever makes sense to you.

Taking a few deep breaths.

And in the quiet of this space,

Allowing your body to settle,

To arrive,

To land,

Giving your mind space to settle,

To arrive,

To land as well.

Seeing if your body at peace can influence your mind,

Bring your mind to a state of peace,

A state of quiet,

Stillness.

Maybe even imagining the contents of your mind just washing down and through your body,

Sort of dissolving,

Flowing into this system that is your body,

Getting lost in the stillness,

The peace,

The expansiveness of your body.

Seeing if your mind can join your body and your body can join your mind,

Allowing there to be no separation between the two.

And if any of this is feeling difficult,

Tricky,

You're not understanding,

It's confusing,

Then it's not a problem,

It's okay.

Maybe bringing some curiosity to your experience,

Whatever it is.

You can't do this meditation wrong.

Simply bringing your curiosity and your kindness to your experience.

For both my spirit and for myself,

Just wanting to relax and simply come out and electronic.

And as we're starting to come towards the completion of this little landing meditation,

Expanding your awareness out so that you're aware of your whole body.

You might move your fingers,

Your toes,

Your wrists,

Your ankles,

Your shoulders.

When you're ready,

Gently opening your eyes.

You might like to have a stretch,

A sip of your drink.

Only wish it were longer. I found when I first began meditation, I wanted my meditation guide to speak more. As I continued, I preferred longer periods of silence and I mostly use the timer now.
