So finding your comfortable meditation posture and closing your eyes either fully or partially and taking a few deep breaths and then taking a few deep breaths and then taking a few deep breaths and then taking a few deep breaths and bringing your awareness to your belly area feeling your belly move out and move in as you breathe maybe more intentionally feeling the breath in your belly so consciously moving your belly out and in a bit more than it might usually feeling the breath in your belly you might like to put a hand on your belly or two hands on your belly if you're noticing an inner critic coming in to have something to say about your belly invite the critic to just step aside for a moment just to give you a few minutes to do this practice with your hand on your belly each time you breathe in breathing in the word courage and then just allowing your out breath to release on its own breathing in courage into your belly one breath after another so maybe courage is not the right word maybe there's another one that feels like it's associated with your belly something like courage breathing in whatever it is that you're feeling in the strength the fortitude the honesty the integrity of your belly your gut power you if you notice your mind wandering your awareness wandering away from your belly if you notice that inner critic just inviting your awareness back to your belly just for a few minutes that's all we're asking for time with breathing courage in being aware of our belly wisdom our gut wisdom you moving your awareness up to your heart region maybe putting your hand over your heart feeling your breath in your chest in your heart region and this time breathing in compassion with each in breath breathing in compassion and then just allowing the release of the out breath you with compassion doesn't feel right maybe there's another word love kindness tending whatever resonates for you it's similar to compassion this heartfelt quality it feels like too much to be in your heart area maybe you can move to the proximity of your heart maybe your shoulder breathing in compassion as you're aware of your shoulder a more neutral place if your heart is a bit tricky or your arm or your elbow you you if you're feeling any resistance around breathing compassion in is there something you might release something you might let go of is there some hardness that you might dissolve or invite to dissolve only if it feels right we're not pushing anything we're not forcing anything listening to what you need and responding you then moving your awareness up a bit more to your head area your mind the mind that's in your head you might like to put a hand over your forehead you might also like to put a hand behind your head so you you're holding your head that's a bit too much strain on your arms then just being aware of your head can help us to hold our awareness in a place if we put our hand over it as you're breathing in imagining the breath is moving up into your head breathing in the word wisdom wisdom then just releasing the outbreath maybe there's another word that resonates for you intelligence resonance awareness something like wisdom you might even imagine your breath as you're breathing in and breathing up into your head area maybe it has a quality a light or a color or there's a sense of what your breath breathing into your your head space might feel like might look like maybe it feels illuminating to breathe up into your head space clarifying if you're feeling pain in your head acknowledging that feeling free to move back to your heart for some compassion you're feeling pain in your head you finally offering a little internal bow or it might even be that you actually physically offer a little bow to these three important places of wisdom in your body so a little internal bow to the wisdom in your head acknowledging your wisdom thanking your wisdom inviting your wisdom to shine to express itself as often as possible and then offering a little bow to your heart area to your compassion inviting your compassion to express itself as often as it can feeling some gratitude for your compassion for your heart moving down to your belly offering a little internal bow to your belly inviting your belly to show up with courage as often as it can feeling some gratitude the wisdom and courage in your belly and releasing any imagery moving your awareness to your breathing for a few breaths just being aware of your body breathing you expanding your awareness to your body as a whole becoming aware of the physicality of your body starting to move your fingers your toes your wrists your ankles your shoulders you're ready gently opening your eyes becoming aware of the room that you're in having a stretch sip of your drink

Being guided by Kristy is always soothing and rebalancing to me, her skillfulness and her caring stance never fail to open me up to the possibility of staying with what arises and softening around it. Thankful 🙏

I wrote a book called The Three Dimensions of Emotions :Finding the Balance of Power, Heart and Mindfulness. So the focus of this meditation is particularly meaningful to me.

I liked how she offered alternatives if the areas she wanted you to focus on were too much at the time. She also offered alternatives if the words she suggested didn't hold truth to you.

This meditation helped me make the connection to the significance of courage during quiet moments when no one is watching. May be different for everyone but this is what came up for me.

Thank you for this. I’ve become increasingly aware of how important it is for these three wisdoms or intelligences to integrate so really appreciated this meditation. With love x
