Hello and welcome.

This is a short guided meditation all about getting unstuck.

Giving you the opportunity through the breath to drop into your body and to help you release any weight,

Any clinging,

Anything that is keeping you stuck in past beliefs,

Thoughts or patterns.

For now all you need to do is get comfortable,

Whether seated or lying down.

Gently closing your eyes and just starting to listen to the beat of your heart.

Bringing your awareness to your breath as you slowly inhale through your nose and then just let it all go out your mouth.

Another slow deep breath in.

Imagine you're drawing your awareness into your body and just gently letting it go.

One more time,

Slow breath in,

Feeling your belly rise up,

Your chest reach to the side,

Pausing as you feel your ribcage press against the floor or the chair beneath you and just let it all go.

Bringing to mind any area in your life where you currently feel stuck,

Any situation you are having trouble surpassing,

Any relationship you're having difficulty and confronting or having a conversation,

Any area where you feel you could use some extra support right now.

And when you bring that to mind,

Notice just your first thought.

What lights up in your body?

Do you feel it in your heart?

In your belly?

Do you feel a pain in your shoulder?

Do you notice your jaw clenching a little tighter or your forehead furrowing?

Just notice.

And then with your next breath,

Imagine that you're drawing that inhale,

That air into that part of your body,

Massaging it,

Softening it.

And with your exhale,

You're just letting a little bit of it go.

I want you to continue to focus on that specific part of your body as we move forward.

And if at any point the spot in your body that calls to you changes,

Feel free to go there.

We often hear that our only limitation exists in the mind,

That what we call stuck is often just a loop of familiar thoughts,

Of familiar stories,

Of familiar identities that we've taken on.

Oftentimes we've taken on these identities because they helped keep us safe in the past.

What a gift that these parts of ourselves showed up at a time where we didn't feel we could fully show up for ourselves.

And this identity came on to keep us safe.

The most beautiful thing now,

If you're listening to this,

Is that you absolutely have the opportunity to bring more awareness to this narrative and create the potential to step beyond it.

It's a radically accepting act to fully dive into parts of our body,

Uncharted territories of uncertain emotion,

And stay there.

Oftentimes when we find these stuck parts that we're holding on to,

Or these wounded parts that we are afraid to let go of or let out,

They keep us in a story connected to our past that we continue to repeat without even noticing it.

But you have the power to shift that.

You have the ability to change your life.

And I'm not talking about taking action in this moment because oftentimes we can so easily jump into action as soon as we get a kernel of knowing within ourselves.

We want to change it.

We want to excavate it.

We want to shift our life.

But for now,

Just stay right here.

Who could you be if you didn't have to do anything about this?

This stuck energy in your body,

This pain you might be feeling,

Or discomfort.

What if I told you you don't have to do anything with it.

You don't have to release it.

You don't have to go through ritual.

Giving yourself the opportunity to see it,

To be with it,

To sit with it,

To know it,

Is enough.

Anytime we can recognize this stuckness without judgment,

We fully set ourselves free.

If I am feeling stuck financially,

The answer isn't to go out and get more money or get a job.

Because this part of me still lives inside me.

This part that believes that it will never be enough.

When I'm able to be there for the story of I will never be enough,

That's when I start to change.

If I'm desiring a partner and throwing myself into the world to give myself more chance to meet someone,

Yet I still hold the belief that I am unlovable or that I am only loved if I show up in a certain way,

Then I will continue to attract the same thing.

But when I'm able to sit with myself and know myself as unlovable,

No matter what,

Everything changes.

Notice if any thoughts come up that reinforce this feeling of being stuck.

What thoughts are at play here?

Maybe you believe there's not enough opportunity.

Ask yourself,

Is this true?

Or is this just familiar?

Maybe you don't believe that you are lovable or that you are flawed in some way.

Is this true?

Or is this just something that was passed down to me that I heard from my past and have continued to hold on to?

Then ask yourself,

Who would I be?

Who could I be without this belief,

This thought,

This limitation?

How would I arrive into the world?

How would I show up?

How would I greet others?

How would I dress?

With what cadence would I speak?

These are all opportunities to shift your identity and your mindset into one that fully supports the one that you are becoming.

It takes practice.

It takes repetition to create these new neural pathways that lead toward the destiny you desire.

But you are capable of it.

You've got it.

Bringing yourself back to your breath.

Maybe placing one hand on your belly and one on your heart.

And just silently say,

I accept myself exactly as I am.

And I am capable of choosing new thoughts.

Continue to breathe slowly as you begin to visualize a space around this stuck energy,

Just opening.

Like clouds parting in the sky,

Bringing relief to this part of you.

As you continue to take deep inhales through your nose,

As you expand and create space,

And long exhales letting go and releasing any tension,

Ask yourself,

What is one small step I can take for me today?

Not what is one small step that you can take out in the world for others or for your common goal,

But what is one small step,

Small change,

Small shift that you can do for yourself today?

Feel into that sensation,

Even if it's subtle.

And as you breathe,

Imagine you're expanding it,

Expanding the sensation,

The feeling.

You don't need to know where that small step will take you.

That small shift will lead.

Just continue to feel the energy that lights up in your body.

You're welcome to stay here as long as you like,

Resting in the space of expansion of the feeling that you want to experience.

When you're ready,

Before you are finished,

Placing both hands on your heart and just saying,

Thank you.

The most powerful prayer we have is thank you.

You may continue this meditation and you may return to it any time that you feel stuck.

To help you relieve that stress and pressure from the body,

To allow you to ease in to what is,

So that you can shift.

Thank you for joining me and welcome home.
