Being comfortable in our bodies,

No rigorous posture required,

Although sitting upright is more conducive than laying down.

In some magical Kundalini world they have figured that out,

But it's about the crown relationship to the root relationship when we sit upright.

So even if that's propped up in yoga props or something,

But sitting upright will allow for that channel.

And as you enter a threshold of deep quiet coming into your system,

There'll be a little wall of resistance.

You'll get an itchy foot or your back will hurt or your neck is sore or that buzzy sound or is that a mosquito?

And that level of resistance will be right there and the truth is if you just pierce through it,

There's something really delicious on the other side.

Often that wall can look like that sleepiness,

That so hard to keep my head up,

So hard to stay awake and if you just pierce right under it,

There's something incredible to win on the other side of that.

So let's close our eyes.

Just taking a moment to scan your body.

Precious beautiful bodies,

Carriers of light.

Just soften our faces,

Really relax that jaw.

Relax those sinuses.

Relaxing through the back of the eyes,

Dropping the effort out of the face.

Relaxing that third eye.

And then when is it to soften the face?

Just 10% more from where it is now.

Just a little more effort,

Just relaxing.

Softening our masks,

Relaxing the muscles.

Letting our sinuses breathe those upper nasal passages.

Let's invite the same in the neck.

Let the neck be the neck.

Don't hold it.

Relax the effort,

Which will immediately create some vulnerability or openness in the heart,

Because the heart and the neck have a deep relationship.

Drop the effort out of your shoulder blades and your shoulders.

Don't hold the body,

Let the body be the body.

What is it to just relax?

Relax back into that which is aware of these sensations.

That ever-present witness that is so effortless.

Just being aware of the breath here,

That soft neck,

Soft chest and shoulders.

This witness,

Just witnessing,

Witnessing the body breathing,

The saliva swallowing,

Feeling your system from the witness point of view,

From that which is aware.

Not holding yourself,

Letting the body be the body,

Letting the neck be the neck.

You be the witness.

And that awareness is not lazy or heavy or sleepy.

That witness is effortless,

Vast,

Present,

Dropping away effort.

Letting the rib cage expand with every breath.

Feeling and witnessing this body breathing.

What is it to relax back into the witness,

Coming out of the effort without sleepiness?

Curiously exploring that.

Let's relax our hips as we relax our shoulders and our chest and our belly.

Letting the pelvis and the hips be the pelvis and the hips.

Just hold them.

Letting your awareness travel along your legs.

Dropping any effort.

Seeing the witness of the sensations.

Just as the witness,

Not needing the body to be anything other than what it is in this moment and paradoxically relaxing out of holding it.

And sensing your feet.

The sensations.

When awareness makes contact with the sensations,

It's measurable that the flow of blood and lymph and cellular rejuvenation increases,

Accelerates.

It introduces flow where there may be stagnation just by being aware.

So being aware of the sensations in the feet begins to open and flow the energy there.

And the energy in the feet is linked to every organ and every energy channel through the whole body.

We don't need to be aware of all of that detail,

But we can be aware of the tips of your toes and the pads of your feet and the heels.

You can be aware of the architecture,

The metatarsals,

Which is the rib cage of your foot.

The bones of your toes.

The feet made of flesh and muscle and bone and all this chemistry,

This energy that flows through them.

Just being aware.

Let's be aware of our hands.

Our palms and our fingertips.

Energy flowing.

Just aware,

Just a witness.

Body's immense intelligence does not require us to hold it.

The body is an allegiance to something much more sublime than our agenda and control.

So stepping back into the witness.

Using our senses,

Let's be aware of the air temperature on your skin,

The sounds in the room filtering out of the room.

As the witness to sound and sensation,

The witness can be very intimate,

Just receiving.

Every time.

With sound,

It's so easy to recognize it's not in our control.

It's not for us to manage,

That we can simply receive the arising of sound.

You're not in the practice of repressing or controlling the sounds.

Then there's something so available in the witnessing,

The very lack of agenda on sound.

The lack of effort makes it so much more possible to receive.

And the world is alive with sound.

And in the witnessing,

The receiving of sound,

You can sense the life in it.

And that's a life that you are not separate from.

There's not plain and you separate.

In the receiving,

There's an intimacy that can notice that.

There is neither an attachment nor a separation,

Which can be so simply defined as it just is.

My invitation just for this moment is to let everything be as it is,

Without management,

Without attachment or separation.

And to truly let it just be as it is.

We need to be the awareness.

That's who you are.

That's where you live.

Just for this moment,

Risk that position.

Just aware of life moving in your body,

In the room.

You are the witness.

To be not involved,

Not controlling,

Not attaching,

Not separating.

Just intimately receiving.

You are the witness.

And thoughts will move,

Just like sound moves.

Thoughts move.

They can be loud and then they move out.

Emotions can move.

Fear can move,

Be loud,

And then move out again.

It doesn't require our management.

That is why it's Oktoberfest.

In and amongst all the sounds is a quietness.

In and amongst all the sounds is a quietness.

You Quietness is a presence something alive ripe with Vitality bubbling with sweetness When awareness that which you are connects to that quiet something soft opens and all the resource begins to enter your system and it's so good there there is such resource it feels like such ease wandering there is nothing lost the body breathes,

The sounds move pains metabolize all without your agenda for some you may glimpse it and then lose it again and then glimpse the quiet and then lose it again and glimpse it,

It's okay for others you can wander right in it's okay there is a field of silence saturating your whole being every sound,

Sensation and movement arises out of it you will never be separate from the resource of this and thoughts may arrive to feel like they block,

They move through,

It's fine at times the awareness may fog out,

Blank out,

It's fine it comes back into the quiet pain or old material rises up through the body,

It's fine it moves and the body breathes and the sounds are here and the moment is ripe with life and you are that which is aware aware of the breath,

Aware of the sound,

Aware of the silence right here is where that wall of resistance is gonna wanna grab you there's something really beautiful on the other side keep coming you are that awareness you are saturated in a field of silence,

In a field of presence you are totally resourced source breathing you are feeling you are not separate you are that awareness you are that awareness the body breathes,

The sounds speak you awareness,

Touching the silence this precious moment built for you,

I'm just in love all these faces it's so precious when you really get it it feels hard to contain all the love that the witness is and the good news is you don't have to contain it good,
