Explore MeditationKinjal grew up watching her grandparents practice yoga and is an RYT who has completed over 700 hours of yoga training and studied classical hatha, ashtanga influenced vinyasa, and Vedic philosophy. She trained primarily in New York, NY at Pure Yoga. Her teacher, Yogi Charu, is an inducted disciple of the Saraswati lineage, one of the ten classical Vedic monk orders established in 8th century CE by Adi Shankarachariya. Kinjal received her M.D. from Columbia University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Brown University. Kinjal loves enabling her students to feel empowered to heal themselves: she’s a lifelong student who blends the wisdom of yoga with depth of science to make yoga joyful and accessible to everyone.
