Transcript

Sit down in a seated position that feels comfortable to you.

You can sit in a chair with your feet touching the ground or cross legged on the floor.

Try to sit in a way that is upright but not rigid.

Relax into your body and breathe normal.

Notice the way your body feels,

The way it connects with the ground or the chair.

Bringing awareness into your body.

And then begin to bring that awareness to your breath.

Noticing how your breath enters your body,

How it feels as it enters your body.

Paying attention to the sensation of this breath in your body moving in and out.

Try to keep your attention on your breath.

Not changing anything yet,

But just paying attention to how this breath feels as it moves through you.

If your mind begins to wander,

Gently bring it back to the breath,

To the feeling of the breath in your body.

Turn to the experience of the in-breath and the out-breath.

If any thoughts creep into your head,

You can acknowledge them and let them pass.

There's no need to push anything away.

And then begin to draw deeper breaths in through the nose,

Deep into your belly.

Bringing in as much air as you can into the center of your body.

And then slowly exhaling,

Making a whooshing sound with your lips as you let the air go.

And then inhaling deep into the belly,

Trying to make that belly rise.

And slowly exhale.

Emptying the lungs all the way,

Taking a little pause and then inhale in through the nose,

Into the belly.

And exhale.

And inhale.

And exhale.

Keep emptying those lungs all the way,

Gently letting go of the breath.

Inhaling and slowly exhaling.

Keep repeating this gentle breathing pattern.

Remember,

It's completely normal to have your thoughts creeping in.

Just gently bring yourself back to the feeling of the breath rising in your belly and escaping through your lips.

And one more deep inhale into the belly.

And exhale.

And we're going to start a couple rounds of box breathing together.

So just follow my instructions.

We're going to breathe in for four,

Hold for four,

Breathe out for four,

And hold for four.

Breathing in through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.

On the count of three.

One,

Two,

Three.

Inhale through the nose.

Hold.

Exhale through the mouth.

Hold.

Inhale through the nose.

Expanding in your body 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 Slowly exhale And then breathing deeply into our bellies And letting go And inhaling into your belly And letting go Inhaling into the belly And letting go And then returning to your normal breath Still focusing on the in and out of this breath in your body Focusing on how this breath feels as it enters and exits Always gently bringing your mind back to the breath when it wanders Knowing that you always have the ability to return To whatever you're thinking about or working on Allowing yourself to be in this moment,

In this breath Taking one more deep inhale And slowly exhale And if your eyes are closed you can now gently open them Slowly bringing yourself back into the room,

Into your surroundings What do you see?

What do you hear?

What do you feel?

Allowing yourself to be focused and relaxed for the rest of the day Allowing yourself to be focused and relaxed for the rest of the day Allowing yourself to be focused and relaxed for the rest of the day

So good. Challenging but in a way that’s fun which is great for my adhd brain. I’d classify this meditation as a life hack 🤓

I typed in the search the exact words “Breathwork for focus” and this popped up. I’ve been spinning out and unable to focus in any one direction for more than a few minutes and this session rescued me-it was exactly what I needed. The guide’s voice, volume, pace-everything-was excellent. Thank you!

This is the second of your meditations I have done Kimi and I must say, again, that this was also as well guided and taught as the first one I did (which is now my 'favourite track' under my profile. That's the 'morning magic breathwork' one. I just love it, sometimes I'll repeat it because I love the nostril breathing in it and then holding the breath and feeling it runs through my veins. It's just wonderful and the way you guide it makes it just even more wonderful. So thank you for being my go-to gal at present. I also recommended 'morning magic breathwork' to my groups and I had great feedback from it. I will also recommend THIS one too, because your work needs to be heard and experienced and I will save it in my 'breathwork' and 'favourites' playlist also, for others to enjoy if they should come across it through that route. It's just so joyous being 'in your presence' without actually having you here, you are always there. And I feel gratitude even without it being intentionally for gratitude. Gratitude for myself for showing up, gratitude for the feelings, emotions, breath, gratitude for just being alive. So, thank you beautiful one and, as always: 🙏Blessings❤️Love🍀Luck🌟Light☮️Peace From a friend; ~Laura~ ( ◡⌣◡ ) Take care. 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

Really nice. Breathwork was really helpful. Box breathing in some meditations feels very “military” but this was very gentle. 👍
