You've reached the end of your day and you're winding down.

I invite you to get very comfortable in your space.

I invite you to uncross your limbs,

Stretch out your body,

Take a few deep cleansing breaths at your own pace,

And allow your mind to reflect on the day you've just completed.

As you run through the events of the day and your thoughts,

I invite you to notice any parts of the day that leave you feeling uneasy or less than satisfied.

And I invite you to ask yourself,

Is there anything I can learn from those moments?

Is there anything I would do differently if I had the chance?

If your answer is yes,

I invite you to imagine yourself going through that part of your day,

But this time doing exactly what you wish you had done differently.

I invite you to see your preferred behaviors with the preferred outcomes as clearly as possible,

With as much detail as possible.

And I invite you to notice that sense of satisfaction.

And if that moment offered you an opportunity to learn,

I invite you to offer a silent thank you for the opportunity to grow.

And if there were any parts of your day that caused you pain,

I invite you to put a hand on your heart and say kindly to yourself,

I'm so sorry for the pain.

For the pain.

I wish you comfort and I wish comfort to all the beings in this world who felt a similar kind of pain today.

And I invite you to silently repeat the words,

May we be well and may we treat ourselves with compassion.

And I invite you now to notice any moments of this day that you're feeling good about.

Moments where someone offered you a kindness or made you feel good.

And I invite you to offer a silent thank you for those kind moments.

I invite you now to bring your attention to any moments in your day when you did something you feel good about.

Perhaps you offered a kindness or you accomplished something or you learned something or you tried something new.

And I invite you to really feel those feelings of joy or satisfaction.

And I invite you to offer a silent thank you for those moments in which you felt good about yourself.

And I invite you now to set an intention for a restorative night of sleep ahead.

For a restful night,

For pleasant dreams and to wake up tomorrow feeling refreshed and ready to be your best self.

And I invite you to take another deep cleansing breath,

Filling your chest and lungs and exhaling slowly.

Inhaling at your own pace and exhaling slowly.

And I invite you to allow your attention to focus on the sounds in your room.

The sounds perhaps that you hear outside of your room.

And when you notice your mind wander to other things,

I invite you to bring your focus back to the sounds that you hear.

As you gently at your own pace allow your body and mind to drift into deeper and deeper relaxation.
