Settle into a position where you feel both comfortable and alert.

This could be a seated position,

Or maybe you're lying down or propped up on a wall or a cushion.

Choose whatever shape works best for you right now.

This is your time and there are no expectations for you to meet.

When you're settled in,

Close your eyes or soften your gaze,

Beginning to take this journey inward.

Bring your focus to your left arm.

As you breathe in,

Picture the arm filling with the energy of the breath.

As you breathe out,

Imagine pushing the breath energy through your fingertips.

Imagine into the left arm as you do this,

Keeping both the physical body and the visualization in your awareness.

When the mind wanders off into thought,

Gently bring it back to the breath.

Now switch to the right arm.

Breathe in,

Filling the arm with the breath energy.

As you exhale,

Release the energy through the right fingertips.

Shift your awareness to the torso.

Visualize filling the entire chest and abdomen with breath energy as you inhale.

Push the breath down,

Out through the bottom of the spine and tailbone as you exhale.

Move to the left leg,

Inhaling and filling the leg up with breath energy and pushing the breath out through the foot on your exhale.

Moving on to the right leg.

Continue the same practice,

Inhaling and filling with breath energy,

Exhaling,

Pushing that energy out through the right foot.

Breathe in and fill your entire body with the breath.

Imagine the body being filled with energy of the breath from head to toe.

As you exhale,

Let the breath out through the fingertips,

The base of the spine and the feet.

Now bring the breath back to a slow and steady cadence,

Releasing the visualization of the energy,

But holding on to any feelings of peace or relaxation that you may have cultivated through the practice.

Let's go deeper by considering the archetype,

The womb.

The womb is the nest,

The belly,

The origin.

This archetype represents receiving,

Not achieving.

It's about accepting love from the mother of us all,

The life-giving force that forgives and cherishes even the most wounded soul.

No matter how lost you may feel,

The womb awaits your return to help you heal and grow.

Turn your focus inward and ask yourself,

What do I need to nourish?

You may consider your physical body,

Your mind,

Your spirit,

Your dreams,

Any aspect of your being,

But sit with the question without trying to analyze or think,

Just allowing any answers to come up from deep within.

What do I need to nourish?

As you practice tuning in to your intuition,

You may notice that you don't always hear words,

You may have gotten images or impressions or even seemingly random thoughts or memories.

Anything that came up could have meaning.

Take the next few breaths to process what came up for you and consider if you want to act on anything that you've learned.

Listen to the following affirmation,

Repeat it to yourself,

Letting it resonate deep within.

I choose to create a nourishing environment that supports my health and growth.

I choose to create a nourishing environment that supports my health and growth.

As we reach the end of today's practice,

Bring the palms together at heart center,

Slightly bowing your head.

Take a moment to reflect on your experience.

Were you able to connect with your inner wisdom?

Did you practice listening and being open?

Allow this experience and any insights you've gained to stay with you as you bring your awareness back to your physical surroundings.

Take your time and when you're ready,

Open your eyes and allow your body any movement that it needs.
