Do you feel pressure to make a choice that you're just not ready to make? Instead of letting that voice of urgency push you into a decision prematurely, give yourself the gift of slowing down and taking the next step when you're ready. Allow yourself the time to pause, listen to your intuition, and trust that the clarity you need to feel confident in your decision will come when the time is right. It's okay to take your time.

Let's just start by taking a nice deep breath in through your nose and let it go.

Allow your breath to return to its natural pace and if it feels okay for you,

Close your eyes or just find a soft gaze.

Noticing as you inhale,

Any areas of the body that might have tension and then as you exhale,

Softening that area,

Releasing.

Notice the space around your eyes,

Your jaw,

Maybe your neck and then bring your awareness to whatever surface you are sitting on or lying on,

Whether that's a chair or the floor,

A couch,

A bed.

Just notice the points of contact with your body on that surface and allow yourself to fully sink in.

Let's take another deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth,

Softening.

Sometimes when you're not sure which way to go,

Which path to take,

The voice of self-doubt and criticism can get loud.

In these moments,

Take a deep breath in and a slow breath out and remember,

It's okay to take your time.

It's okay to wait for clarity to come on its own.

You don't always need to control it.

I know it can feel like you'll miss out on something or get left behind if you don't decide right away,

If you don't jump right in,

If you don't rush to what's next,

But it's okay to take your time.

What's meant for you will not miss.

Sometimes the choice is easy and you know immediately what to do,

But sometimes things are more complicated,

More nuanced,

More entangled with our past or with others.

And it's in these moments that we really need to pause and ask ourselves,

Is this what I want,

Really?

Does this choice align with who I am becoming?

With this decision,

Am I moving towards love or am I choosing this out of habit or from a place of fear?

Ginny Romancic said,

Your progress lies in your ability to pause.

Living on autopilot is how you fall back into your old patterns.

The ability to pause,

Stay present and choose is how you change your life.

You have come so far on this journey of life.

Don't give up on yourself.

It's never too late to choose you.

Stay engaged.

Stay in it.

Take the time you need to choose intentionally,

To create the life you dream of,

To create the life you are meant for.

You have come so far on this journey of life and it's okay to take your time.

Bring your shoulders and squeeze them up towards your ears and then with an exhale,

Let them roll down your back and relax,

Letting go of any tension that might have collected there.

And with each exhale,

Let it wash away.

Joseph Campbell said,

If you can see your path laid out in front of you,

Step by step,

You know it's not your path.

Your own path you make,

With every step you take,

That's why it's your path.

No one but you needs to understand your journey.

It's not theirs,

It's yours and it only needs to make sense to you.

Step by step,

By intentional step,

Just start moving in the direction of your longings.

If it feels okay,

Bring one hand to your heart and one hand to your belly.

And as you inhale deeply,

Notice how they rise together and fall together.

If you want,

You can keep your hands right here or you can allow them to just relax back down into your lap or by your sides.

Now bring your awareness to your body and just notice if there have been any thoughts circling or swirling around in your mind.

Just notice if those thoughts have taken root in any particular part of your body.

If there are any sensations that you can perceive,

Any feelings asking to be felt.

Where do you feel that?

Whatever it is,

Whether it's in your belly,

Your heart,

Your throat,

Or someplace else,

Just notice without judgment.

It can take time to sort through the layers of worry and uncertainty,

To dig deeper beneath the fear and the stories you've been told,

And especially the stories you've told yourself.

It's hard work to heal that disconnection from your inner voice,

But at your deepest level,

You know.

You know what you need.

You know what feels right in your bones.

And knowing the right choice to make does not always mean it's the right time to act.

Listen to your gut and it's okay to take your time.

Maybe the reason you're unsure is because it isn't time to choose yet.

Maybe there are still pieces of the puzzle you can't see.

Time reveals truth.

If you can keep your heart open,

Moving towards love,

And quiet your mind from time to time,

Keep listening,

Keep trusting your inner voice,

Keep being willing to make mistakes and learn from them,

And keep returning to that place of stillness right at the center of your being,

You will see the way forward.

And take your time.

Once again,

If it feels okay for you,

Bring one hand to your heart and one hand to your belly.

Notice as you breathe in the rise and as you breathe out the fall.

Notice if there has been any shift in your energy and your clarity.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and let it go.

Start to bring more awareness to your body,

Wiggling fingers and toes,

Maybe wiggling your shoulders a little bit or even swaying from side to side,

Moving your head around.

Whatever feels intuitive and right for you to help you come back into your space,

Wherever that may be.

Before you open your eyes,

Just notice if you can feel the temperature on your skin,

If you can hear any sounds around you.

And then slowly start to flutter your eyes open.

Deep breath in,

Slow breath out.

Here you are.

Welcome back.

Until next time.
