If it feels okay,

Close the eyes or soften your gaze.

And take a moment to notice that you are here.

That you chose to show up for yourself in the midst of something deeply personal and human.

And so thank yourself for being here right now,

Practicing this meditation and doing this work.

Begin by bringing awareness to your breath.

Notice the breath moving in.

And notice the breath moving out.

If your breath feels shallow,

That's okay.

If it feels uneven,

That's also okay.

Allow your breath to be exactly as it is for a few moments.

And now begin to deepen your breath.

Allow it to be a bit bigger and fuller.

Big,

Nourishing inhales and stabilizing and calming exhales.

As you breathe,

Bring awareness into your body.

Notice any sensations that are present in your body right now.

There's no need to change anything or analyze.

But just notice how it feels to be in your body right now in this moment.

And now bring one hand to your heart.

Maybe take the other hand and place it over your pelvis or your womb space.

And feel the warmth of your hands.

The comfort of your touch.

Your hands rest over a place where so much has been held.

Take a big,

Deep breath in.

And a long breath out.

And as you exhale,

Imagine giving yourself just a small amount of softness and compassion.

In this moment,

You may be feeling many things.

Maybe grief for what was or grief for what didn't get to come.

Or disappointment for the version of pregnancy you imagined you'd get but didn't.

And you don't need to push this away.

You don't need to make it any lighter.

Let the grief be acknowledged here gently without being rushed.

It's okay to feel this way.

And at the same time,

You may also be holding on to hope.

Perhaps hope that feels cautious,

Maybe fragile.

And you don't need to decide how much hope you're allowed to have.

You don't need to justify or defend your hope.

But also let that exist too.

Let grief and hope sit side by side.

They don't cancel each other out.

Take a few more big,

Deep breaths,

Allowing these two feelings to be side by side.

And perhaps you imagine within you that there is a connection.

There is a space that can hold all of this.

That can hold the sadness,

The longing,

The uncertainty,

The hope for another pregnancy.

Maybe you imagine it like a little bubble or a physical space where you can hold these things side by side,

Letting them coexist within you.

And that space is just there to hold whatever you're feeling.

And as you rest here,

You can tell yourself the following words.

I honor what I have lost.

I honor the love that remains.

I am allowed to grieve and still want more.

My heart can hold the tenderness of hope.

I welcome another pregnancy into my life.

I allow myself to be hopeful for the future.

And if it feels like it,

If it feels okay,

Return your awareness back to your womb space.

And imagine this space being wrapped in warmth and kindness.

There's nothing your body needs to prove or earn.

Just sit and be with this space.

Knowing that whatever you're feeling is okay.

And take a big deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Tell yourself,

I can go slowly and I remain hopeful.

And now we'll gently shift into the intention and manifesting of another pregnancy.

Just simply allowing that possibility to be here.

You can tell yourself,

I am open to new life in whatever timing is right for me.

And really let these words settle.

And take a few moments here to invite the soul of your next baby into your heart.

Your body and your life.

And then when you're ready,

Begin to bring your awareness back to your breath.

And back to your body.

Maybe wiggling fingers and toes.

And gently returning to the here and now.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Closing your meditation practice.

Thank you so much for being here with me today.
