So let's dive right in to our guided practice by not only settling into a comfortable position and resting our bodies,
But also releasing expectations and any negative self-talk or limiting beliefs that may be getting in the way of expressing your own self-confidence or worth or value.
Just leave it all at the door,
Wipe the slate clean,
And just be for the next few minutes.
And now bring your awareness to your belly.
Just feel the natural rise and fall of the belly as you breathe in and as you breathe out.
And as you inhale,
Just feel the belly rise,
And as you exhale,
Feel the belly fall.
It's completely effortless.
The breaths are low and slow.
As you inhale,
The belly rises,
And as you exhale,
The belly falls.
And just focus on the rise and fall of the belly as you breathe,
Allowing each breath cycle to bring you to a softer and quieter place.
And now in your mind's eye,
Visualize yourself standing in front of a mirror where you're looking at your own reflection.
But as you do this,
Look at yourself as a loved one would look at you with deep familiarity and love,
Fondness.
See yourself through the eyes of those that love you and value you.
What would they see when they look at you?
And now look yourself in the eye and tell yourself,
I value you.
Feel it deep in your being,
Deep in your bones,
And say it again,
I value you.
Feel a sense of deep appreciation and admiration for the person that's standing in front of you.
Just continuing to breathe,
Looking yourself in the eye,
Feeling your worth,
And just opening yourself to a sensation of appreciation and admiration for you.
We're now going to repeat a series of mantras to ourselves.
So as I call them out,
You can repeat each one to yourself three times.
I can do hard things.
I admire who I am.
Confidence comes to me with ease.
My ideas are inspired and unique.
Self-esteem is easy for me.
I value myself.
I allow myself to be seen.
I am capable.
I am confident.
I have high self-worth.
Feel the power of these mantras sinking in,
Knowing them to be true deep in your heart.
We're going to repeat those mantras once again.
This time really saying it with that confidence,
Knowing them to be true,
Beginning with our first mantra.
I can do hard things.
I admire who I am.
Confidence comes to me with ease.
My ideas are inspired and unique.
Self-esteem is easy for me.
I value myself.
I allow myself to be seen.
I am capable.
I am confident.
I have high self-worth.
Just sitting for a few final moments,
Letting that appreciation,
Admiration,
That esteem for yourself pour into you.
Then when you're ready,
Take a big,
Deep breath in through the nose,
Open mouth,
Sigh it out,
Letting go.
Then when you're ready,
Just bringing yourself back and closing your meditation practice.
Thank you so much for joining me today.
