Mindful Tapping For A Happy Day

Mindful tapping practice to help create a happy day ahead, I created this as part of setting up the day on the right note, it can be used directly after tapping The stress release practice or on its own. The points used are; Top of the head, forehead, eyebrow, side of eye, under the eye, under the nose, middle of the chin, collar bone, Base of the nail bed on the outside edge from thumb to little finger and the Kasrate chop point on the outside edge of the back of the hand halfway down.

Hi there,

It's Kelly here.

Thank you for joining me today.

We're going to tap a mindful tapping round on having a happy and positive day.

Mindful tapping is based on modern energy tapping which originally came from EFT.

So find yourself a comfortable place to sit or lie and gently close your eyes and as you do bring your full attention to the here and now.

Become present.

Call back any parts of you that have gone ahead with your day or maybe parts of you that are still stuck in the past.

Take some nice breaths in and out and gently place your hands one over the other over your heart.

Notice how your heart space is feeling today.

Allow it to feel a little softer and more open if need be,

A little more relaxed.

By holding the thought in your mind that you're sending a message to your heart now,

That it's okay to soften and relax.

Allow the rest of your body to feel calm and relaxed.

All those muscles softening out.

And now when you're ready,

Take one of your hands right up to the very top of your head,

Your crown and gently start tapping on that crown point.

And as we tap we're going to say happy positive day ahead.

Nice breath in and all the way out.

Then coming down to your forehead,

Centre of the forehead,

The third eye point,

Lightly rhythmically tapping.

Wonderful,

Happy positive day ahead.

Nice breath in and all the way out.

Gently moving your hand down to the corner edge of your eyebrow and just using one finger to lightly tap that eyebrow point,

Very top of the eyebrow where it begins.

Happy positive joy-filled day.

Nice breath in and all the way out.

Now slide your finger along your eyebrow down to the corner of your eye,

Gently tapping the outside edge of the corner of the eye.

I'm going to have a happy magnificent positive day.

Nice breath in and out.

Maybe starting to get an image of what your day is going to be like from this energised energy state.

Now moving your finger down to under your eye,

You're tapping on the eye socket bone directly in line with where your pupil would be if you had your eye open and we're looking straight ahead.

Happy joy-filled positive day.

Nice breath in and out.

And then coming down to under the nose,

Just above the top lip.

I release anything that's stopping me from having a happy positive day now.

Nice breath in and out.

Tapping the middle of the chin now,

I raise my energy so that I can have a happy positive day and this will spread to those around me.

Okay,

Now coming down to your collarbone and you're tapping the little nodule at the end of the collarbone,

There's one either side,

The left and right,

Before a tiny little gap or an indent.

K-27 point.

I am going to have a happy positive day and I allow this happiness and positivity to spread into all areas of my life.

Good,

Nice breath in and out.

Coming down to the hands.

Now if you're tapping on your left hand,

You're going to be tapping on the outside edge of the thumbnail bed,

Which is the right side,

And if you're tapping on your right hand,

You're tapping on the left side of the thumbnail bed.

And we're going to follow through on each finger in the same position.

Happy positive joyful day ahead.

Nice breath in and out.

Then moving on to your first finger.

Wonderful,

Happy,

Joyful,

Positive day.

Nice breath in and out.

Middle finger.

This happy,

Positive day.

Spreading out.

Middle finger.

This happy,

Positive day spreads out to all my friends and family and people I know and people I don't know.

Happy,

Positive day.

Moving on to your ring finger.

Nice breath in and out.

Beautiful,

Happy,

Positive day.

Nice breath in and out.

Now tapping on your little finger,

Bottom of the thumbnail bed.

Happy,

Positive,

Joy-filled,

Beautiful day.

Nice breath in and out.

Now we're going to tap on the outside edge of the back of the hand.

And we're doing a karate chop motion.

And we're halfway down the backside edge,

So running down from your little finger.

Halfway down the hand.

Happy,

Beautiful,

Positive day for everyone.

Nice breath in and out.

And now gently bringing your hands back over your heart.

Feel the energy in your hands really rejuvenating and reenergising your heart.

And now allow yourself to be in a very beautiful place in nature.

Where the very air you breathe has a magical quality to it.

And breathe in that energy of having a happy,

Positive,

Beautiful day.

On your out breath,

Flow it down through your body and out of your feet.

On your in breath,

Feel as if you're pulling this energy in through the top of your head.

And then flowing it down and out on your out breath.

Let it energise every cell of your being.

Be aware of your energy becoming lighter and brighter.

More expansive.

Feel it filling your house,

Your garden,

The street you live on,

The village or town you live in.

And onwards and upwards until it flows around the whole earth.

Happy,

Positive day.

And know that you can come back at any time you want to to visit this beautiful place in nature.

And breathe in some more happy,

Positive day energy.

But for now,

Relax your hands.

Have a little stretch and when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Coming all the way back,

Feeling relaxed yet rejuvenated and looking forward to your day ahead.

I was struggling to wake up and to have energy this morning. My usual routine of using the timer threatened to end with a nap, so I opted for a guided meditation instead. I am so glad I picked this one, i am feeling energized and ready to take on the day.
