Hello and welcome to your EFT for self-confidence and courage.
My name is Casey and I will be leading you in this practice.
As we begin,
Find yourself in a comfortable seat,
Sitting up nice and tall and allowing your sitting bones to root down into the surface.
On your next inhale,
Reach the crown of your head nice and long,
Reaching towards the sky and allow your breath to become very smooth and soft,
Taking a few cycles of breath here,
Releasing any tension from your face,
Allowing the forehead to soften,
Relaxing the jaw,
Creating some space in between the top and the bottom teeth.
And as we begin today,
I want you to think about this most pressing issue of self-confidence and courage.
On a scale of one to ten,
Rate yourself where you are.
One being no sensation,
No feelings,
Ten being extreme discomfort.
Wherever you fall on that scale is perfectly fine.
Just understand that there will be times that you might need to come back to this practice to move yourself down the scale.
I will guide you in our tapping,
So just listen to my voice as it cues you where to tap.
The first place we will tap is the karate chop point.
You can tap on either hand,
It does not matter.
We will say the setup statement three times and all following statements twice.
I will leave a little space in between each statement for either you to repeat to yourself or quietly in your head.
Tapping at the karate chop point.
Even though I don't always believe in myself,
I accept myself and how I feel.
Even though I don't always believe in myself,
I accept myself and how I feel.
I accept myself and how I feel.
Even though I don't always believe in myself,
I accept myself and how I feel.
Begin tapping at the third eye in between the eyebrows.
Sometimes I don't feel confident.
Sometimes I don't feel confident.
Side eye.
I think what I have to say,
How I feel,
Isn't important.
I think what I have to say,
How I feel,
Isn't important.
Tapping the under eye.
I second guess my choices.
I second guess my choices.
Tapping under the nose.
And sometimes I just don't want to inconvenience others.
And sometimes I don't want to inconvenience others.
Tapping at your chin.
I don't always speak up.
I don't always speak up.
Tapping at your collarbone.
And sometimes I don't ask for what I really want.
And sometimes I don't ask for what I really want.
Tapping under the arm.
I play small to fit others' views of me.
I play small to fit others' views of me.
Tapping at the crown.
This feels safe for me.
This feels safe for me.
Take a few cycles of breath before our next round.
Breathing into your belly and into your heart space.
And a slow,
Smooth exhale through your nose.
Tapping at the third eye for round two.
I have the right to speak my mind.
I have the right to speak my mind.
Side eye.
I see other people doing what I want to do.
I see other people doing what I want to do.
Tapping at the under eye.
I see people standing confidently in their power.
I see people standing confidently in their power.
Under your nose.
I know I can make these changes.
I know I can make these changes.
Tapping at the top of the nose.
I know I can make these changes.
Tapping at the chin point.
Growth lies in my discomfort.
Growth lies in my discomfort.
Tapping at the collarbone.
My solar plexus is my source of confidence and power.
My solar plexus is my source of confidence and power.
Underarm.
I breathe into my power center.
Breathing into my power center.
Tapping at your crown.
Doing the scary things allows me to grow.
Doing the scary things allows me to grow.
Pausing here for a breath or two.
Continue to allow your body to relax.
Smooth out the breath.
Begin tapping at your third eye.
I can do anything I want.
I can do anything I want.
Tapping at the side eye.
No one will judge me as much as I judge myself.
No one will judge me as much as I judge myself.
Under eye.
I deserve to be seen and heard.
I deserve to be seen and heard.
Tapping under your nose.
Under your nose.
I don't need to worry about others accepting me.
I don't need to worry about others accepting me.
Tapping at your chin.
Because I accept myself.
Because I accept myself.
Collarbone.
I love me.
I love me.
Tapping under the arm.
I know I have all I need inside of me.
I know I have all I need inside of me.
Tapping at your crown.
I believe in me and my abilities.
I believe in me and my abilities.
Take a moment here before our final round to just take a few cycles of breath.
Pausing.
Pausing.
Just gently scanning your body.
Releasing any tension in your face or in your shoulders.
Now let's get ready to feel this new belief.
Begin tapping at your third eye.
When I speak,
I speak with confidence.
When I speak,
I speak with confidence.
Side eye.
I trust my instincts.
I trust my instincts.
Under the eye.
I don't second-guess myself anymore.
I don't second-guess myself anymore.
Under the nose.
I know I am good enough.
I know I am good enough.
Chin point.
To be seen and heard.
To be seen and heard.
Collarbone.
I am important.
I am important.
Underarm.
And I can be myself.
And I can be myself.
Crown.
Authentically and unapologetically.
Authentically and unapologetically.
Gently allow your hands to rest in your lap.
Again,
Sitting up nice and tall,
Taking a smooth cycle of breath in through your nose.
And gently releasing through your lips.
Going back to our most pressing issue of self-confidence and courage.
Rate yourself again on that scale of 1 to 10.
How does it feel now?
Do you still feel the same?
Or do you feel like that number has gone down the scale?
Just know that this is not a one-and-done kind of thing.
You will need to come back either to this practice or another practice to seek relief.
On your next inhale,
Reach your arms up and overhead.
And as you exhale,
Connecting palms together,
Bringing down all of that divine universal energy to your heart center.
And that divine universal energy vibrates as the frequency of love through which you and I and all sentient beings are connected.
The light in me salutes and honors the light in you.
Namaste.
And thank you very much for allowing me to be of service to you.
Please feel free to leave any recommendations or comments about this practice.
I am always working to make these better to serve your needs.
Again,
Thank you so much and have a great day.
