Be kind to your mind.

What you speak is what you believe.

What you tell yourself is what you embody.

If you are always telling yourself,

I'm not good enough,

I won't make it,

I'm not capable,

I'm not smart,

That is what you believe.

You are stopping yourself before you even give it your all,

Before you even try your best.

You're not gonna get everything right all the time.

We are human.

We are here to learn,

To live,

To make mistakes,

And to try again.

When times are difficult,

That is when you push through,

When you stand up taller,

When strength comes.

Every single thing you have ever been through,

Everything you go through,

It's made you who you are and who you are becoming.

Even in the hardest of times,

It's hard to believe,

But you will be okay.

You will make it through and that's why it is so important what you tell yourself.

I can cheer you on,

I can empower you.

Your loved ones can tell you how amazing you are,

But what really matters is what you tell yourself.

What you tell yourself matters more than anything,

Because what you tell yourself determines your life.

This is where you take those thoughts that you have and I want you to challenge them.

Is this really true or is this something I've always told myself?

Is this just a belief or is this the truth?

To challenge your thoughts,

To come up with evidence why actually maybe the opposite is true.

If you say I'm not smart,

I am smart,

I am intelligent,

And I have evidence to back that up.

If you say I can't do it,

What if you change that to I can do it?

And you come up with ways in the past that you've proved yourself wrong and that you actually can do it.

You are capable of anything that you set your mind to,

But you just have to believe in yourself.

You have to cheer yourself on every single day.

I got this.

I can do it.

I am capable.

I am enough.

You were born enough.

You've been enough your whole life.

You have just told yourself that you weren't.

Maybe compared yourself to other people.

We don't know everyone's journey.

We don't know what others have done to get where they are.

You can't compare your journey to someone else's because you're only looking at a highlighted version.

You're only looking at them at their success,

Their certificate,

Their new job.

You're not seeing the years of hard work that it took to get where they are.

Focus on yourself.

Focus on your life.

Focus on standing and choosing to rise even through the hardest of times,

Knowing that this is not it.

Focus on being kinder to your mind,

Really paying attention and being aware of the thoughts that you have,

How they make you feel,

How they affect you each day.

It's never too late to make these changes no matter how long you have told yourself these negative beliefs,

These thoughts.

It's never too late to make changes.

By shifting your mind you can shift your life.

This will change every aspect of your life.

It just takes practice,

A daily practice every single day,

Working on your inner thoughts,

Challenging your inner thoughts,

Telling yourself these positive affirmations which are the opposite of what you usually tell yourself.

If you say,

I'm not worthy,

Shifting that to I was born worthy,

I am worthy,

I have always been worthy and I always will be.

If you say,

I'm not good enough,

I am more than enough,

I've always been more than enough.

If you say,

I always mess up,

Changing that to I'm doing my best,

As long as you are doing your best that is all that matters.

So taking this time each day to practice being kinder to your mind and remembering that is a daily practice.
