Time to hold space, to soak in some quality time for the self, to reflect with a state of gratitude, on the ebbs and the flows. Time to connect inwards, to be as you are, to gracefully surrender, and to breathe. For in the stillness creation begins to beat its drum, and the soul whispers begin to hum.

Thank you for your presence here.

Taking this time to get yourself comfortable.

You can lie down,

Lean against the wall,

Build a fortress or a cave however you like.

Place one hand on your heart space and one hand on your belly and breathe here.

You can leave your hands where they are or allow them to gently fall to your side.

Do what feels comfortable for you,

This is your practice.

And gently closing down your eyes if you haven't already.

At any stage if you feel you need to adjust your position,

Please do.

Meditation is a practice of choosing our thoughts,

Gently turning down the volume dial on the mind chatter.

And if you happen to find yourself on the journey of a thought,

Gently pull yourself back by first noticing where you are in your mind.

Draw your focus to your breath and go through softening and relaxing each muscle from your feet to the crown of your head.

Taking a full breath into your belly now.

Gently hold and slowly release.

Taking another breath in.

Hold at the top and gently release.

Deep breath in into the base of your belly.

And release,

Let it go.

Let your breath forward to its natural flow.

Softening into the ground beneath you.

Softening your toes,

Your feet,

Your ankles.

Relaxing your calves,

Your shins,

Your knees.

Your thighs and hamstrings.

Softening your glutes.

Relaxing any tension that may be held in your hips and lower back.

Releasing it to the earth.

Softening your belly,

Your chest.

Your fingers,

Hands,

Wrists.

Moving up your spine.

Lowering your shoulders down and back away from your ears.

Releasing what you've been carrying from your shoulders,

Your neck.

Allowing it to gently fall away.

Softening the muscles in your face.

Creating space between your teeth to relax your jaw.

Softening all the way to the crown of your head.

Following your breath.

Creating some length here if you need to.

Resting into the stillness,

Let your body speak to you.

In times of stillness we receive the guidance from our higher self.

We allow space to hear the whispers of the soul.

We open to hearing creation begin to beat its drum.

For some this year this time has stretched us.

Asked us to align in ways we have not expected.

At times perhaps catching us off guard.

For some it has been a year of surrender.

And of letting go.

It's been a release as we've gracefully and sometimes not so much.

Loosened our white knuckle grip on that which we were clinging on to so tightly.

It has also been one of inviting in the new.

As the rose tint begins to fade.

As new perspectives come to light.

We see the world anew.

Sometimes it can feel like for the first time.

Taking in all of its raw beauty.

Through letting go space has been created to open.

And to allow in that which is more fitted to us.

To embrace our uniqueness.

A shedding of old.

Of that which no longer is aligned.

The gentle wilt of the rose.

These new views come to us in varying ways.

And a new path has been paved.

One that is more entwined with the soul.

For what we may have been resisting,

Holding off on or silencing our voice for comes to rise in these moments.

And as we meet ourselves anew.

At new depths we do so with grace.

I want you to take a moment to send waves of gratitude to yourself.

To your heart.

To your body.

For all that they have carried you through this year.

And continue to carry you through.

Take a deep breath here if you need it.

With you every step.

Every beat.

And every breath.

My dear body.

Thank you for all that you have carried me through this year.

My dear heart.

Thank you for being open to receiving the light and love that surrounds me.

Taking this time to consider what you are thankful for in this moment.

And what you would like to surrender and release as you step into a fresh year.

A new day.

A new week.

And on what you wish to align your energy to.

Hold these as your intentions.

Your inquiry.

And allow the answers to gently come to you.

Taking this time to be with yourself.

Taking this time to breathe.

Taking this time to adjust to the feel of these new sensations as those petals fall to the floor.

And a new season is reached.

Taking this time to be gentle with yourself.

To adjust.

Knowing that the bloom will come.

All my love,

Dear soul.
