Let's take a quick moment here to brush off that session.

If you have the space and the privacy,

I invite you to close your eyes.

Now bringing your palms together and gently beginning to rub them back and forth,

Up and down.

Creating some warmth.

Building a little heat,

A little friction between your hands.

Picking up the pace a bit.

And then gently placing both hands on your opposite shoulders.

Feeling the warmth.

Now you might begin to rub your hands down your arms.

And when you reach your elbows,

Flicking off that energy.

Like you're brushing off crumbs.

Dusting yourself off.

Wiping off that which isn't yours.

Continuing here to brush off the words and stories and emotions that aren't yours to hold anymore.

Moving down to your legs.

Brushing your legs.

Your thighs now.

A few more here.

And slowly returning your hands back to each other.

Palms together.

Once again creating that warmth.

Rubbing them back and forth.

And then placing them over your closed eyes.

Taking a moment here to feel the warmth.

The safety.

Inhaling.

And exhaling.

Slowly,

Your hands still sheltering your eyes.

Beginning to blink open your eyes.

Seeing into the darkness and warmth of your hands.

And when you're ready,

Gently lowering your hands.

Revealing the room around you.
