Begin your meditation by taking a few deep breaths,
Taking the breath deep into the lungs and imagining that the lungs expand out to the front and sides,
Taking the breath to each corner of the lungs and extending the outward breath so that it becomes longer and slower.
Breathe in again and as you breathe out,
Begin to let go of any tension.
With the inward breath,
Notice a sense of tranquillity and with the outward breath,
Begin to let go of any fears,
Any worries,
Any tension.
Allow yourself to begin to feel completely at peace.
Breathe in again and feel a sense of calm and quiet.
For the duration of this meditation,
Leave behind any of your concerns of the outside world.
This is a time when you can allow yourself to completely relax.
As you go through this meditation,
Trust that you are willing to allow yourself to experience a deep sense of relaxation.
You are willing to let go and relax.
This meditation will help you to think more positively.
Now bring your awareness back to the breath.
As you breathe in,
Imagine you're breathing in a pure white light.
This light is a cleansing and healing light.
Take the breath into the heart and as you breathe in through the heart,
Notice how this healing light has a cleansing effect on all of your emotions.
Watch the path of this light as it enters the heart,
Bringing light and positive energy.
And notice that the outward breath easily carries away any negative emotions.
This is a time when you can let go and relax.

Imagine that the cleansing white light fills every cell in your body.
From the top of your head down through your chest and abdomen.
Into your arms and legs.
Allowing each and every muscle in your body to soften and relax.
You are feeling rested and calm.
As you breathe,
Become aware of a lightness in your body.
A lightness in your heart.
You feel freer and lighter than before.
And you are filled with a sense of hope for the future.
Know that the things that are troubling you in your life are just passing through.
Not permanent.
Know that you have the ability to deal with whatever comes your way.
And trust that everything will be okay.
To image your happiness in your life,
