Welcome to a tapping practice on increasing energy and motivation.
Let's start with three full breaths,
Breathing in fully through your nose,
Holding it at the top,
And breathe out with an audible sigh.
Breathe in fully,
Hold at the top,
And exhale through your mouth.
Breathe in,
Expanding your belly or chest,
Hold at the top,
And release the breath completely.
Before we start tapping,
Get in touch with your current level of energy.
What is the resistance you're feeling to either exercising,
Getting a project done,
Or simply feeling inspired?
Rate that level of resistance on the scale from 0 to 10.
Okay,
Let's start tapping,
Starting at the karate chop point,
Side of the hand,
Underneath the pinky.
Even though I feel resistant to taking action,
I'm showing up and supporting myself right now.
Even though my energy is so low,
I recognize this feeling and commit to moving through it.
Even though I feel resistant to moving my body,
I still deeply and completely accept myself.
Top of head,
I feel resistant to getting started.
Eyebrow,
I feel so tired.
Side of the eye,
I'm lacking motivation.
Under the eye,
My energy is low.
Under the nose,
It feels like too much effort.
Chin point,
All of this resistance.
Collarbone,
Toward getting started.
Under the arm,
Toward moving my body.
Wrist point,
Towards taking action,
Toward a goal.
Side of the hand,
I feel resistant to moving forward.
Top of head,
I feel tired at the end of the day.
Eyebrow,
I'm too tired to exercise.
Side of the eye,
It's hard to make the first step.
Under the eye,
I feel resistant toward getting started.
Under the nose,
My energy is low.
Chin point,
All this resistance.
Collarbone,
Towards getting started.
Under the arm,
Towards moving my body.
Wrist point,
Towards taking action,
Toward a goal.
Side of the hand,
I feel resistant to moving forward.
Pause,
Take a breath,
And now I'd like you to keep tapping through the points as I guide you.
Say out loud what you're feeling resistant to,
Or simply focus on your breath as you tap through the ten points.
Top of head,
Eyebrow,
Side of the eye,
Under the eye,
Under the nose,
Chin point,
Collarbone,
Under the arm,
Wrist point,
Side of the hand.
Now let's pause,
Take a slow deep breath in,
And let it out.
Now check in with your resistance to taking action,
Moving forward,
Moving your body on that scale from 0 to 10.

I choose to move my body in a way that feels easy today.
Under the nose,
It feels hard to stay motivated.

I choose to be gentle on myself when it feels hard.

I feel this resistance to taking action.
Under the arm,
I choose to breathe and take my time in moving forward.
Wrist point,
It's hard to stay motivated.
Side of the hand,
I choose to do what lights me up.
Top of head,
I am capable of the goals I set for myself.
Eyebrow,
I choose to take it one step at a time.
Side of the eye,
I trust myself to follow through with what I feel called to do.
Under the eye,
I move my body in a way that brings me joy.
Under the nose,
I honor the ebbs and flows of my energy.
Chin point,
I choose to take one small step today.
Collarbone,
I know I can move through this resistance.
Under the arm,
I choose to do what lights me up.
Wrist point,
I trust myself to follow through with what I feel called to do.
Side of the hand,
I am capable of achieving the goals I set for myself.
Take a slow deep breath in and let it out.
I trust that this practice was helpful for you in honoring the resistance that you felt and now feel more energized and excited to move forward.
