Welcome,
This is a tapping exercise on cultivating confidence and courage to set boundaries in your relationships.
We'll start by getting into a comfortable position,
Making sure you're sitting upright with a straight spine.
Take a slow deep breath in and let it go.
Start tapping on the side of the hand underneath the pinky and repeat after me.
Even though it feels hard setting boundaries with people in my life,
It's okay to feel this way.
This is new for me and I choose to be gentle on myself in this process.
Even though it feels hard for me to speak up for myself,
I am gaining clarity and confidence to speak my truth.
I choose to recognize how far I've already come.
Even though I feel this tightness in my throat and jaw,
I am safe right here and right now.
We'll start tapping through the points,
Starting with top of the head.
It feels hard to set boundaries.
Eyebrow point,
I feel afraid to say no.
Side of the eye,
So I avoid setting unnecessary boundary.
Under the eye,
It weighs on me.
Under the nose,
I feel this tightness in my throat and jaw.
Chin point,
I rather avoid having challenging conversations.
Collarbone,
I know this isn't serving me.
Under the arm,
It feels hard to set a boundary.
Wrist point,
I'm afraid to speak up for myself.
Side of the hand,
Setting boundaries feels hard for me.
Top of head,
I don't like disappointing people.
Eyebrow point,
I'm worried I'll disappoint this person if I set a boundary.
Side of the eye,
It feels selfish to set a boundary.
Under the eye,
I'd rather avoid the conversation altogether.
Under the nose,
I feel afraid to set a boundary.
Chin point,
I feel a tightness near my throat and jaw.
Collarbone,
Part of me is worried what people will think of me.
Under the arm,
I'd rather avoid the challenging conversations that come from setting boundaries.
Wrist point,
I don't want to disappoint anyone.
Side of the hand,
I feel afraid to say no.
Top of head,
I don't like disappointing people.
Eyebrow point,
I'm worried I'll disappoint this person if I say no.
Side of the eye,
I'm worried I'll cause a lot of confusion.
Under the eye,
I'd rather avoid the conversation altogether.
Under the nose,
I feel this tightness in my throat and jaw when I think about setting a boundary.
Chin point,
I want to avoid this challenging conversation that I'm anticipating.
Collarbone,
I know this isn't serving me.

I'm worried what people will think of me if I say no.
Wrist point,
I don't want to disappoint anyone.
Side of the hand,
I feel afraid to say no.
Pause,
Take a slow breath in,
And let it go.
We'll continue tapping,
Starting with the top of the head,
Recognizing any lingering thoughts of fear,
The challenge,
Upsetting a boundary,
While including some affirmations to move forward.
And repeat after me.
Part of me feels afraid to set a boundary still.
Eyebrow point,
It's safe for me to speak my truth.
Side of the eye,
I notice this tension in my body.
Under the eye,
I choose to breathe light into my throat and jaw.
Under the nose,
A part of me still feels afraid to say no.
Chin point,
I have a responsibility to speak up for myself and my needs.
Collarbone,
Boundaries create understanding.
Under the arm,
Boundaries protect my peace and the peace of others.
Wrist point,
Boundaries allow me to have honest conversations.
Side of the hand,
Boundaries keep me in integrity with myself and my values.
Pause tapping,
And take a slow breath in,
And let it go.
I invite you to put your hands on your heart.
Imagine a light glowing around your heart space.
Picture this as yellow,
White,
Or green,
Or any color that calls to you.
This light is filling your heart with compassion and deepening your self-love.
Repeat any of these phrases after me that resonate with your experience and what you want to call in.
I am safe in my body to set boundaries.
This is new,
And I am learning.
I am honoring my needs and truth when I set boundaries.
I can protect my energy without feeling guilty.
I am worthy of respect,
And my boundaries matter.
Take one final slow breath in into your heart space,
And let it all go.
Thank you so much for showing up for yourself to do this exercise.
You did it.
I believe in you,
And I'm here for you.
Sending you love and blessings.
Take care.
