Heart coherence breathing.
This is a breathing technique which will help you with feelings of anxiety.
We live in extremely uncertain times.
Dealing with global conflicts,
Climate crisis and a pandemic can indeed create a lot of anxiety in our lives.
And it can be hard to trust that we and our loved ones will be okay.
Heart coherence breathing helps with slowing down heart rate and hormonal regulation.
What we are going to do is match the length of our inhalation with the length of our exhalation.
We will breathe in for the count of five and breathe out for the count of five.
This will synchronize your heart with the breathing frequency and help restore physiological balance between the heart,
The brain and the body.
Ready?
Okay,
Start by adjusting your position to make yourself feel extra comfortable.
I will be counting but remember if my pace is too slow or too fast,
Feel free to adjust it to whatever works best for you.
Let's take one extra breath together.
Exhale,
Empty your lungs fully and let's breathe in for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Exhale for five,

A couple more rounds in your own pace.
Inhaling for the equal count as you are exhaling.
Inhaling for the equal count as you are exhaling.
Synchronizing your breath frequency with your heart.
Last round in your own pace.
Great work.
Okay,
Allow your breath to come back to its natural pace.
Let go of the counting and take a moment to notice how you feel.
Remember,
No right or wrong way to feel.
Whatever you notice is perfectly fine.
When you're ready,
Raise your gaze or open your eyes.
