Happy people 4. Conversation With Tatev
by Ryna Arsho
This is a conversation about how being passionate in music and understanding its secrets opened Tatev's mind towards frequencies and vibrations of light, love, and happiness. It develops self-discipline, open mindedness, and helps you to leave with an open soul and lead with an open heart.

I'm tatev,
Which means give wings in Armenian.
I'm a composer,
Pianist,
Singer,
Many other things.
Provocator against stagnancy and bias.
Yeah,
That's me.
What was your,
What was the biggest miracle in your life?
Being born.
Thank you,
Mama.
And the moment,
The moments I discovered sound,
The impact of sound,
What I can do through it,
Where I can appear and disappear,
What I can become through sound.
Who do you think you were in your past life or life?
All I can say for certain is that I feel that I was continuous energy throughout all of it,
Light,
Some form of light,
Either in a literal sense or energy sense within a body.
I don't know.
I must have been some kind of a Napoleonic creature too.
I have a feeling like that.
Your nickname is Napoleonic.
My nickname is Napoleonic.
Given by your sisters.
Given by my sister.
And I have a picture actually of me on my 26th birthday on a horse that says little Napoleon.
Anyways,
Yes.
Who do you see when you look in a mirror?
Someone who if she puts her mind to it can do anything she wants.
What is the coolest thing you ever bought for yourself?
My bicycle.
That's why you have all the cops with bicycles.
And this baby of course.
But the coolest one was the bicycle,
But the Nord behind us,
This red baby,
This red sexy baby.
Who is your hero?
I have to say one.
You can say anything you want.
My hero is the individual who comprehends and knows that they cannot be led by fear.
In other words,
Revolutionary characters.
For sadly,
Our history is full of control by institutions of religious kind,
Of political kind.
And so any individual who has gone against that and has done work and has succeeded even convincing or influencing one other person on the planet is my hero.
So Mary Oxman,
Jane Goodall,
Wim Hof,
You,
Absolutely.
What do you think makes you,
Well,
Do you find yourself ordinary person?
No.
No,
I feel that I'm special.
But this specialness,
I want to clarify,
This specialness doesn't make me have a higher echelons type of vibe in regards to other people.
I feel that they also,
If they become in tune with themselves,
Are special and have their own colors.
So this awakens no disrespect or lowering eye for other people.
But I feel special.
We're not trying to be politically correct here and be modest.
I feel special.
I feel very,
Very special.
So if you feel special,
What is the most extraordinary thing about you within you?
What is the most wanting that you feel is more extraordinary than any other?
Yeah,
Two things.
My being aware and present in the moment,
Which is directly correlated to the second fact of my noticing things that I often realize a lot of people haven't done.
It can be a little cat in a window sill that I walked on the street very fast that nobody noticed,
Or a cool entrance to a building,
Or a homeless person that nobody seems to see when he's asking a question,
Or a variety of things.
I notice things.
Do you think that ability to notice things,
More details than others,
Somehow has input into your creative process of writing music?
I believe so.
Oftentimes,
It's things like that that make me hear or feel something from which I get inspired.
Yeah,
I believe so.
When do you wear a mask?
As time goes on,
And as I become wiser and more comfortable in my skin,
In my intellect,
In my physique,
In my talent,
In who I am,
Less and less faking is required,
Less and less faking I exude.
So lately,
It hasn't been so much.
I remember that before,
Through my early 20s,
It would be usually with people that I didn't know,
Who were about to know me,
Who were getting to know me,
And whom usually I wanted to impress somehow,
Whatever my delusional state was about the impression.
To impress?
Yeah,
Yeah,
Which I suffered from a lot.
Was it ever to hide and to be safe,
To protect yourself?
Was it ever fear that was pushing to?
Only in a couple of occasions related to specifically music and musician scenarios.
Usually,
It wasn't to hide anything,
But to exude and show something extra that maybe wasn't there.
Does that make sense?
Yes.
Yeah.
So you were saying that quite often,
If not most of the time,
You feel connected with that channel,
With the universe that gives us the energy.
Cassandra,
Next about.
You do feel that connection.
Yes.
Yes,
Being in the present moment,
Yes.
But then there is another level to that,
Where,
For example,
I'll tell you,
You know of my having gotten electrocuted and having had the near-death experience,
Which I did when I was 14.
There was a moment in which I felt one with all energy around me.
I'm talking about energy that exudes from plants to people to emotions from the light of the sun,
Everything.
You become melted in that state.
And it becomes a realm where there is no gravity.
There is no sense of time.
It's almost like the union of being in love with someone,
Being in a wonderful dream,
And being in a spaceship where there is no gravity,
A combination of those three feelings,
And a dream-like state,
Too,
A little bit.
But it doesn't feel like quite a dream,
But it's a combo of these things.
That kind of state,
Where I don't feel time at all,
Happens sometimes.
That kind of specific channel happens sometimes that I access through performances sometimes,
Or when I play something at home in them,
Right?
So through sound,
Through music,
Sometimes I tap into that.
Do you think the condition that you're describing is something that people call enlightened?
Or becoming a new human?
A new religion,
Usually people call it.
Do you think possibly it may be the condition that people experience when they call themselves born again,
Becoming a new human?
I know that the direct connection to the spiritual aspect of us being earthly creatures and spiritual beings,
I think it taps more in the sphere of being a spiritual being,
Spiritual light,
Than a physical person.
I think that's what I tap into.
But I don't know if I would call that new life or enlightenment.
You know what,
I would.
I would.
That opens up many emotional and intellectual gates for you to have an exponentially fast growth.
So yeah,
I'd say that.
As a matter of fact,
I do feel like oftentimes that I'm a cat with quite a few lives that I've already had.
One quite technically that life that I wasn't supposed to combat by any clinical studies or clinically speaking,
I'm not supposed to be alive.
So in that way,
I do feel like that.
Do you feel connection with Earth as well?
Yeah,
But I think that's where most of the difficulty and trouble lies in,
The balance of the two,
The balance of the two.
And that's why I was hesitant about saying about the enlightenment,
Because it's not like you're enlightened and that's it.
It's every time you write a new composition,
Every time you meet someone new or a new relationship or you get into a deep emotional philosophical conversation,
Any time there's a new project or anything,
You have to.
Or every day that passes,
Your organism gets older.
So every day,
The practice of the physical body in combination with the balance of the intellectual and the spiritual mind have to be worked on continuously.
That's why I feel weird about saying I'm enlightened.
You know what I mean?
It's an endlessly continuous process.
It's not an easy thing that happens once and that's it.
You are trying and assuming that you have still a connection with that light from above,
Which has to go through us.
Sure,
Above and through all around us.
You have connection with the earth as well,
Most of the time.
Every day,
I do my best to keep that balance through practicing,
Through my exercises,
Through breathing.
So what is the color of that thread that keeps you connected?
It's like,
What's the color of that light?
What's the color of that energy?
It's more a feeling than a color for me,
But if I have to put it in colors,
It's bright whiteness and blue,
Blue-white,
That kind of.
Death,
For me,
Is the stagnancy of my mind.
So I try to always keep it active by doing all sorts of things,
Realizing that there is union among all of us,
That we are connected and immensely symbiotic together throughout all that we do on our planet.
Yes.
I hope this inspires you to find your little passions,
To commit to them,
To connect with yourself,
With each other,
With your family,
With yourself,
With each other,
And hopefully with me.
Thank you very much.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I am here now,
There and everywhere you are,
You are.
We're united.
False divisions and fears,
They always keep us apart,
Apart,
But we all are united.
Read the air that lights your mind and find your might.
You have all the joy for wearing a paradise.
Don't you learn anything,
This light of the world dreams.
Dreamers strive,
Dreamers strive to reach the heights.
