Welcome to this short meditation for clearing the mind.
I'd like to begin finding a comfortable position,
Whether seated or laying down.
When you feel ready,
Closing down the eyes,
Turning the focus inwards,
And just taking a few extended breaths,
Perhaps in through the nose,
Out through the mouth,
Letting yourself land in this moment,
Bringing the focus back to the body,
Through the breath,
Taking a moment to scan the body,
Perhaps from head to toe,
Just observing what is alive within you right now,
Not needing to change anything,
Just flowing through with the breath,
As you come back into your physical body,
Perhaps shifting the breath,
Flowing in through the nose and out through the nose,
Slowing down the exhalations,
Letting the brain receive the information of what is being received through the inhalation and released through the exhalation,
Valuable information that flows with each breath,
That the intelligence of your body can access,
A way to find balance,
So breathing gently in and out through the nose,
And shifting focus now to the mental body,
Taking again a gentle scan of what is alive in your mind,
Perhaps a lot of things coming and going,
Again not needing to change anything,
Just observing,
Perhaps there is a particular mood or theme that is present for you right now,
Seeing what is alive in your mental body,
Breathing in love,
Breathing out acceptance for where you are right now,
Knowing what is to be,
From this place of acceptance,
We can welcome in the change we desire,
Setting this intention for our highest good in this moment,
Perhaps what you're calling in is a calming of the mind,
Or a clearing,
Or a grounding,
Letting your intention bubble up now to the surface,
Perhaps finding one word to anchor to,
What would you like to welcome in to your mental body,
What would be most supportive for you right now,
Once you have that word,
Sensing it in the center of the head,
You may see this written in your mind's eye,
Observing each letter,
And giving this word a color,
A color that represents the essence of this energetic imprint,
And from this place in the center of your head,
As you continue to breathe in and out of the nose,
Noticing as this light color begins to expand,
With each breath growing throughout the space of the head,
Feeling the energy soothing each and every part of your head,
In the forehead,
In the back of the head,
In the cheeks and jaw,
In the eyes,
In the tongue,
In the crown of the head,
Flowing into each and every part,
Infusing the essence of this intention,
Washing over the mental body as you breathe in and out of the nose,
Observe the changing in state that is occurring,
The alchemy through clear intention and spaciousness,
And from here we ground this intention,
So allowing the breath from the space of the head,
All the way down through the body,
Until you reach the soles of your feet,
And on the next exhalation,
Breathing out the soles of the feet,
Grounding down into the earth,
Discharging any energy that you're ready to let go of from the mental body,
Trusting that the earth knows how to transmute this energy,
Letting it go,
Breathing now up from the soles of the feet,
Rising back until you reach the center of the heart,
And pausing here for a few breaths,
In and out of the heart space,
And here we have a few moments of gratitude,
Giving thanks for your mind,
This powerful operating system that allows you to process,
Understand,
Comprehend the world that you live in,
All of the information that comes to it,
And the way it filters through,
What is needed for you in each moment,
Feeling gratitude for the unique experience that you get to have as a human,
Feeling gratitude for the ability to create space in your day,
To anchor in with intention,
And create change in your physical being,
And sensing now as you inhale,
Expanding back out,
Feeling your physical body,
Breathing full body breaths,
And taking once again a gentle scan,
Perhaps from head to toe,
Noticing any shifts that have occurred in this meditation,
Perhaps you're feeling a bit lighter,
More grounded,
Clear,
Open,
Whatever those words are for you,
Giving thanks for this state of consciousness that you have created here,
And taking a final few full body breaths,
And as you do so,
Gently coming back into the space that you are rested in,
Be wiggling your fingers and your toes,
Gentle movement as you slowly come back,
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes,
