And as you take your time here to settle,
Let the body do any little movements that
it needs to,
To find comfort,
To arrive into ease.
Notice what that feels like,
What it requires today in this moment.
Perhaps the body requires more adjusting,
Or perhaps it arrives with ease fairly quickly.
There's no right or wrong,
No better or worse.
Rather it's to acknowledge what the body requires,
And honoring that,
Tuning in to listen to
the body,
If they haven't already,
Inviting the eyes to gently close so that the tuning
in can go even deeper,
Becoming aware of the internal landscape.
Take a moment to check in,
Just by opening up your awareness,
Almost as though it has
its own radar.
What does it pick up?
What information is it picking up from the body?
Notice where that information is coming from,
And what it is conveying,
The message it is
sending.
And as you acknowledge this message,
You now send the breath into that space to act on
your behalf,
To respond to the message.
Just simply sending the breath at whatever depth,
At a steady pace,
And allowing for
the intelligence of the prana within the breath to respond accordingly.
Can you watch and observe this intelligence,
And how it responds,
Observing its knowingness
of what this area needs,
What this message requires,
And how the prana shows up to support
it.
Perhaps this area needs a longer breath,
A steadier breath,
And notice if that's how
your breath has shown up.
Perhaps this area is asking for more space,
And has the depth shifted to provide that.
Perhaps this area has resistance blocking or holding.
Notice how the breath finds a new path around it,
Sweeping around that resistance,
Almost
to say,
I am here,
I am here when you are ready,
And almost respecting the boundaries
of that resistance,
While still providing support.
And if you keep watching the breath in that space,
Notice how the area and the message
might be receiving the breath,
Or coexisting with the breath,
And acknowledge how this
area might be shifting,
Whether it's slowly and subtly,
Or if the shift was more immediate
or profound,
The shift as the result of the presence of your prana,
The life force that
supports,
That sustains,
That releases,
While your awareness simply observes this intelligent
flow in relation with the body.
And now shift into the space of your mind,
And once again,
Let the radar of your awareness
simply start to notice what is present,
Perhaps the amount of thoughts,
The speed at which
the thoughts show up,
Or the quality of the thoughts.
Notice if there are any thoughts or emotions that this radar of your awareness starts to
track,
Asking for more attention,
Asking for more support,
And imagine as though these
thoughts are in a room.
Can you send your breath into that space,
Allowing for the breath and its intelligence
to respond to the message sent by the mind?
Can you observe how the breath shows up?
Notice its qualities,
From its pace to its depth,
The rhythm from in to out,
And how
does the mind receive this energetic flow?
What becomes the result to those thoughts and emotions?
Can you now take a slightly deeper breath,
So that as it enters,
Filling your whole being,
And a slightly deeper exhale,
Letting the next breath be slightly deeper again,
Filling
into wherever it is needed,
And releasing,
And then do that one more time,
So that it
fills into the space of the body and of the mind,
Clearing and sweeping up to release
whatever is stagnant,
Or old,
Or ready to go,
And then once again,
Can your awareness
send out its radar signals to both the body and the mind now,
And just simply tune in
to this moment,
And notice if there are any shifts,
If the messages were answered,
And
take a moment to be with your breath.
Can you feel that very gentle,
Subtle,
Energetic buzz that moves through and along with the
breath?
This is your energetic life force.
What gives the body the capacity to function?
What gives the mind the capacity to function?
And what thanklessly moves through you and around you to support you in every moment,
And as you are present with it here and now,
Having observed its intelligence,
And its
capacity,
And unwavering support for you,
Perhaps take a moment to honor,
Acknowledge
this life force in whatever way is appropriate for you right now.
Simply being with it,
Perhaps thanking it,
Maybe even settling into it.
Notice how far its reach,
Its expansion goes.
Very gently begin to return your awareness back into the space and surroundings.
Become aware of the subtle sounds of your space,
Of the supports that are holding you,
And when you are ready,
Let the eyes gently open,
Softly taking in the surroundings.
And arriving back into your day.
