There is some evidence to suggest that deep breathing can shift the state of the mind and emotions. And over time, this quality in-breath can begin to re-train the brain to operate from a place of response rather than reaction. Benefits include: Decrease fatigue (some even say can put you to sleep within 60 seconds of doing the practice in the evening) Reduce anxiety and stress levels Reduce hypertension Manage cravings Control or reduce anger responses
