Part 1,
Group Commitments.
This is part of Ho'oponopono,
Restoring Harmony and Balance,
Healing Relationships.
Before the Ho'oponopono process begins,
Each member is a willing participant of Ho'oponopono and establishes a set of shared commitments before they address and move through a challenging conversation.
The agreements or commitments should include four foundational commitments.
They are 1.
Perseverance,
2.
Openness,
3.
Discipline,
And 4.
A trained mediator or haku.
First,
Perseverance is the ability to stay or stick regardless of how hard the conversation might get.
We must persevere through challenge together.
We must agree to be open and receptive,
Willing to see the other with an open heart.
The concept here that we have for this is Aloha.
You can learn more about Aloha in another meditation that I offer through Insight Timer.
Finally,
We must be disciplined and keep to the process of healing but keep it disciplined within the group.
That is,
Hold the confidence of what is said and shared only within the group and be disciplined not to share anything outside of the group.
And finally,
Being able to choose a trained cultural practitioner who knows and understands the Ho'oponopono process that is neutral and that everyone can agree upon.
Questions for individual reflection.
Can I make a commitment to the process of healing?
How can I agree to speak with truth,
Sincerity,
And love in the spirit of this process?
How can I hold the discipline to keep this process in confidence within the group and hold this conversation as sacred?
What other agreements do I have to hold with this group that I would like to share?
And finally,
Do I agree on a spiritual practitioner,
Mediator,
Facilitator that the group sees as neutral to be able to support this process?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
