Hey,
This is Kima.
Welcome to today's throat chakra balancing meditation.
Let's get comfy and magnify our ability to communicate and live our truths.
When you've settled in,
Take a deep breath in.
And let that go.
Again,
Just like that,
Taking a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And letting that go through the mouth.
Starting to settle into your space.
Closing down the eyes and bringing awareness to your throat center.
Both a physical and energetic representation of communication.
Honesty.
Authenticity.
Just breathing into this space.
Actually starting to notice the air traveling down the throat through every inhale.
And out through every exhale.
Continuing to breathe through the nose.
And noticing the quality of the air in the throat.
As you notice this throat center,
Start to imagine a blue ocean at the base of the throat.
You can even replicate this sound of the ocean waves crashing with your breathing.
This is a form of pranayama breathing called ujjayi.
It's a soft restriction at the base of the throat.
It sounds sort of like this.
Just allowing this soft restriction in the back of the throat to create a soft sound like the ocean.
And imagining the blue waves crashing and pulling back with every in-breath and out-breath.
And as if this place in your throat was being cleaned and cleared by this ocean.
And as the tides rise and fall,
They pull any toxicity,
Any inauthenticity,
Any anger,
Any words that aren't true out of you.
Allowing this ocean breath to dissolve all that isn't truly yours.
Let it be detoxifying.
With this newfound quality of truth,
Purity,
I invite you to start introducing the affirmation,
I live my truth.
So inhaling the words,
I live,
And exhaling the words,
My truth.
I live my truth.
I live my truth.
And you can continue linking this with your ujjayi breath.
Thank you.
I live my truth.
I live my truth.
Slowly starting to let that affirmation go,
Coming back to your natural breath,
Even letting go of the ujjayi breathing,
Just breathing normally.
Noticing how you feel.
Slowly starting to deepen your inhales and your exhales,
Starting to take some movement into the body,
Whatever is authentic to you.
Moving from that place of authenticity,
Taking some neck rolls,
Some shoulder rolls,
Wiggling the fingers and the toes.
And as you're ready,
Slowly starting to open your eyes.
