This guided nature meditation invites you to embody your tree-like nature, to receive nourishment, and to rest into your mid-line as a resource for acceptance, strength and resilience. We can lean into nature as a support for healing, nervous system regulation/balance, and a sense of belonging and inter-connectivity with all of life.

Welcome.

Please find yourself in a comfortable seated position for this meditation,

Allowing your spine to be elongated and tall,

Finding your midline between your crown,

Head and tail,

Just like the trunk of a tree.

The base of your spine or trunk is rooted deep down into the earth.

The top of your trunk is reaching up towards the sky and the light above.

Your branches are reaching out in all directions,

Receiving light from the sun and nourishment.

And you are right here at the very center,

The middle of the middle of your trunk or your midline,

Your innermost core.

Can you rest into that support from Mother Earth below you,

That connection to all things,

To the community of trees and life around you,

Feeling yourself held there right at your base,

Right where you connect to the earth in your own unique way,

And the earth connecting to you in her own unique way.

Every breath,

Your drawing nourishment,

And your breath up from the earth through your spine,

Your midline,

All the way up to the crown of your head,

And then releasing your breath down your spine,

Your midline,

Back to the earth,

Letting go.

So you could imagine that you are just sitting here,

Drawing your breath up through your perineum from the earth,

Feeling breath or nourishment rising up through the trunk of your spine,

Enlivening your branches and your leaves,

All of your cells with each breath,

And then releasing anything that you don't need back down through your trunk to the earth.

Anything that you don't need back down through your trunk to the earth to be composted and transformed.

With each breath,

Your trunk becomes brighter,

More luminous and whole,

Strong and resilient.

Connected to the earth below and the sky above.

If you'd like,

You can simultaneously draw the energy of the sunlight down through your crown,

Allowing sunlight and earth energy to meet and alchemize at your heart,

Inviting in the nourishment and the rejuvenation you need from the sky star above and the earth star or the heart of the earth below you,

So that you can stand tall like the healthiest tree,

Surrounded by other friendly trees and community,

Drawing in light from above and still cool earth energy from below,

Allowing this energy to blend at your heart space and fill you up.

Connected to the stiller,

Quieter frequencies of the earth below,

Her supportive,

Nurturing qualities,

Providing you with a place of belonging right here through gravity,

Allowing those stiller,

Quieter frequencies to suffuse your tree body.

Rooted in the yin-like qualities of the earth.

Here.

At the same time,

Receiving the radiance of the light and the sun above,

The powerful yang-like qualities of the sky and the sun,

Charging up your internal batteries,

Filling you with radiant energy.

Let your face and your skin begin to glow and soften into this loving embrace from Mother Earth and Father Sky,

And you right here receiving,

Letting go of all effort or control.

Simply allow yourself to receive this love,

Support,

And nourishment of the earth around you.

Noticing any rivers of sensation within,

Any movements of your subtle fluid body.

As you stay very connected and rooted to your midline and your connection to earth below and sky above like a strong pillar in the space of the trunk of your midline,

You can be very neutral with your awareness,

Matched with the equanimity of nature.

Like a tree that is very humble,

Possibly neutral and equanimous,

Receiving sensory information from your surrounding environment,

Maybe from other trees or birds,

Animals,

Birdsong,

Allowing life to happen around you,

Without needing to control or change.

Simply staying rooted in the neutrality and equanimity of your midline,

Like a humble tree.

Open non-judgmental awareness.

Simply being here with what is.

Connected to the biorhythms of the earth,

The cycles of nature,

The natural laws,

And simply loving and accepting.

All of these changes and transformations,

Everything that is here,

Accepting as it is,

As you are.

And grateful for this symbiotic exchange.

And sharing of the elements.

Grateful for the provider and creator of life.

For the constant transformation and renewal.

Resting peacefully here as long as you like.

Thank you so much for sharing this meditation with me.

Wishing you a wonderful day.
