I am so happy you are here.
In today's meditation you will be creating space for deeper self-love using the healing power of water and the opening and balancing of your sacral chakra.
Your sacral chakra is vital for your emotional and physical well-being because it's truly your internal home of self-love,
Self-compassion,
Joy,
Sensuality,
And even creativity.
It is within this inner home that you get to choose to hold the emotions that nourish you and expel the emotions that deplete you.
The element of your sacral chakra naturally fitting is water.
Just like our emotions,
Water at times can be so still and calm.
It can be loud and powerful like waves crashing in the ocean and it can also be healing and cleansing like listening to the sound of rain.
So let's start to go into meditation.
Begin by getting really cozy and comfortable and start to witness the feeling and the flow of your inhales and exhales.
Place your hands palm side up and place an intention of self-love within them.
Start to rub your hands together to create some energy and warmth and gently place them over or upon your lower abdomen,
The location of your sacral chakra.
Start to guide your breath,
Your awareness into this part of your body,
Checking in with this part of you.
If you were to put a name to the kind of water energy that you embody in this moment,
What would it be?
Do you feel internally like a quiet and peaceful lake,
A flowing river,
Droplets of rain falling from the sky,
A rushing waterfall bursting with energy or something else?
As you breathe into your lower abdomen,
Filling the space with your inhales,
Releasing with your exhales,
Allow your breathing rhythm to flow like water,
Rising and falling,
Ebbing and flowing like the waves,
The tides of the ocean.
Your awareness,
Your intention,
And your breathing will open your sacral chakra for you.
So we're going to stay here for the next couple of minutes,
Just breathing with the intention of filling yourself with self-love.
I will come back after a couple of minutes.
Let's take a nice deep breath together and I am now going to ask you a series of questions to somatically connect to your sacral chakra,
Your inner home.
I will give you space between each for answers to come to the surface.
If this opens your emotions,
Please flow with it.
That is exactly what this practice is meant for.
If at any time it feels like too much,
Come back to the sound and equal rhythm of your inhales and exhales.
Here we go.
With your attention on your lower abdomen,
Your hips and your pelvis,
What emotions are you carrying,
Holding in this space?
What emotions,
If any,
Are ready to be released?
As your answers come to the surface,
Allow yourself to let go to set them free with your exhales.
What feelings,
What emotions that you are holding bring you comfort and joy?
As these answers come to mind,
Allow yourself to feel that joy that they bring to you.
What emotions do you want to feel more of?
Whatever these are for you,
Embody these feelings starting right now in this moment.
Let's take another nice soothing breath together.

Famous for his study on water,
Found that words and intention of kindness and positivity and love,
When directed towards water,
Formed beautiful crystals within the structure of the water.
And the opposite,
When words and energy of negativity or hurt were directed towards the water,
No crystals or fragmented shapes were what formed within the water.
We are made of water.
Your brain,
Heart,
Lungs,
Skin,
Organs,
And even your bones are composed of water.
How you talk to yourself and how you allow others to speak to you energetically affects your entire chemistry.
So together let's create some beautiful water crystals within.
Repeat these affirmations after me,
Guiding these words to yourself.
Today I am going to be loving to myself.
Today I will remember that I am enough exactly as I am.
Today I am choosing to fill my body with peace and joy.
Today I am going to be kind with the words I use towards myself.
Today I am free to be me.
Today I am the embodiment of love.
Taking a deep breath as we start to come out of this meditation,
Let's mindfully challenge ourselves to keep creating these beautiful crystal formations.
First for ourselves and then to all of those around us.
As you journey through your day,
Remember that releasing emotions sets them free,
Creating space for joy,
For love,
For creativity,
For peace,
And anything else that you desire to feel.
Your words,
Your energy,
Your attention to intention matters and makes a difference.
Gently move your body,
Embracing this moment one more time,
And when you are ready open your eyes.
As you see or hear water today,
Stop for a few sweet deep breaths,
Allowing the healing sounds to nourish your senses.
