The time for rest and relaxation has arrived so let's get right into finding comfort.
Lie down if you would like,
Grab a blanket or two and settle into your space however feels best for you right now.
In this meditation I will be guiding you through the restoration and healing of each of your energy centers,
Your chakras.
As you get settled in let's reflect for a moment on how throughout each day the energy held within your chakras shifts.
There are peaks and valleys,
There's moments of an abundance of flow or moments of stagnation.
We have experiences that enliven energy and we have experiences that block energy and shut it down.
And this energy ebb and flow it is universal,
It happens for everyone.
So the purpose and the beauty of the practice we are going into today is that it will bring your energy into peaceful balance and alignment so that your rest and relaxation is restorative,
Allowing you to reawaken,
Refreshed,
Centered,
Balanced and with a clean energetic slate for a new beginning.
Together let's take a nice deep breath acknowledging the day that occurred before this moment and the relaxation ahead.
Softly close your eyes and let's go in.
Slowly draw your inhales into your body,
Feel the air fill your chest and abdomen.
Exhale slowly through your mouth allowing your body to retreat and relax.
Begin to bring your awareness,
Your attention upon your root,
Your tailbone.
Guide your breath into this space.
This is your first chakra named Muladhara.
It is your foundation,
Your grounding force.
As you breathe into your root,
The affirmation being I am,
Simply repeat the words I am.
Connect to this energy through your breath and attention,
Opening it with your inhales,
Letting go with your exhales.
Bring your attention now into your lower abdomen,
Your hips and your pelvis.
Guide your breath into this space.
This is your inner home of emotions.
As you take nice deep breaths into your lower abdomen,
Have an intention of connecting to and calming this energy.
The affirmation is I feel.
Repeat the words I feel,
Allowing the center to open for you,
Your inhales to fill you with self-love,
Your exhales to release,
Let go,
Set free.
Drawing your inhales now into your upper abdomen,
Your solar plexus,
Your center of inner light.
Connect to your light,
Your Manipura,
Your city of gems,
By visualizing yourself,
Drawing a beautiful light into your body.
Allow this light to fill your abdomen and touch every cell in your body.
As you breathe in this light,
Remember that you are pure,
Radiant,
Stunning,
Shining,
With your grounding force connected,
Your emotional center calm and loved,
Your light ignited.
We move now into your heart space.
Fill your heart with your breath,
An equal rhythm of inhales and exhales.
Listen to your heart.
The affirmation is I love.
And if images of what you love comes to mind,
Allow them to come to the surface,
Embracing each with love from the very center of your heart.
We move up into your throat chakra,
Your voice,
Focusing on your throat.
Take gentle breaths,
Relaxation,
The intention.
If audible exhales call to you right now,
Allow a soft ah to escape your lips.
Focus now upon your third eye,
The very center of your forehead,
The home of your powerful intuition.
Light is the healing elixir of your third eye.
As you guide your breath into this space,
Visualize a beautiful light connecting you even deeper to your intuition.
Let's send your intuition some gratitude for guiding you through today,
Through tomorrow,
And through the next.
Simply say the words thank you to your intuition and give it permission to rest.
Your seventh chakra,
Your crown at the very top of your head is ready for you to connect to it.
This energy is your connection to everything within and everything around you.
The symbol is a thousand petaled lotus flower.
Visualize this lotus upon your crown as we enter quiet time to embody deep relaxation.
Feel the energy softly flowing from your root to your crown,
From your crown to your root,
And rest.
The music will gently fade at the end of this meditation,
Allowing you to drift into peace,
Sending you love.
