Fourth,

Chakra meditation.

Begin by finding a comfortable seat.

You could also stand if you prefer.

Notice the parts of your body that are touching the floor and the ground.

Feel those parts of your body growing roots into the earth,

Building stability.

And then trace with your mind's eye to your pelvis.

You can give a little bit of movement to your pelvis to help you find dynamic alignment if that feels appropriate to you today.

And then finding stillness again as you trace with your mind's eye up to your navel center.

Noticing a sense of strength and power at your navel center.

And then bringing your awareness up to your heart center,

Your fourth chakra.

The element here is air.

Breathe into your heart center.

Notice how your lungs expand on your inhale,

Bolstering your heart.

The energy of this chakra is your heart and your lungs.

It also fills your arms and your shoulders.

And this chakra represents love.

Most importantly,

Self-love.

We can give and receive love when we are most able to love ourselves.

Imagine warmth radiating from your heart forward and back,

Side to side,

All through your arms.

Allow your breath to bolster and support this love.

This chakra is also where we experience grief.

And part of experiencing love is often the grief piece as well.

Notice your precious heart and tend to it.

Are there any parts of your heart that are grieving?

If so,

Give those grieving parts the love they deserve.

Wrap them in a blanket of kindness.

As you notice your breathing,

See if you could imagine how your breath and your lungs and your heart stack right up on top of your lower chakras.

The first,

Second,

And third chakra provide a base for the heart.

And your heart is the energetic center of your being.

Love is the center.

Your vitality comes from your breath.

Your vitality comes from your heart.

And as you create awareness to your breath,

It will change your heartbeat.

See if you can notice that.

The element of air connects you to the wind of the planet.

It connects you to all living things on earth.

Allow your breath and your heart energy to radiate and feed the rest of your body.

All the way down to the earth.

All the way up to your head and to the heavens.

You are love.

We are love.

Our breath,

Our heartbeat,

Is in pulse and in harmony with other beings and with the heartbeat of the earth.

Notice how your lungs naturally expand in all directions on your inhale.

And notice how they can gently contract in all directions on your exhale.

You are breath.

You are heart.

You are heart.

You are love.

You are being breathed.

Allow your jaw to settle and soften.

Plant your mind right at your heart center,

Almost like it could drop down into your heart.

And then lovingly place your hands over your heart center.

Soften your chin to your chest.

Signaling to your body that you're done with your meditation for now.

Honoring your body for the work it did for you today and for this practice.
