Welcome to Vaika Post-Yoga Shavasana for Beauty and Detox.

You may call this Shavasana or Corpse Pose,

Which is perhaps the most important asana in a balanced yoga practice.

It allows your body to recalibrate and integrate all the wonderful flowing energy you have fired up during your practice.

You've contracted and stretched,

Twisted and maybe even inverted,

Using all of your muscles during your practice.

So let's integrate that neuromuscular information and luxuriate in well-deserved comfort before returning to everyday life with a renewed sense of mindfulness.

Nothing needs your attention and there is no need for you to do anything at this time other than to follow the sound of my voice as I transition you into a very relaxed and profound state of theta waves or deep relaxation.

You can begin by laying on your back with your eyes closed and by taking some nice,

Deep,

Long breaths,

Expanding the lungs.

Allow your arms to spread away from your sides and allow your feet and legs to separate and fall open.

Allow your legs and arms to sink heavily into the earth like heavy,

Wet.

Feel your hips relax and open as you bring your awareness to the points of your body that are pressing into the ground.

Now relaxing so deeply and so peacefully,

All I want you to do is to just let it all go and fully release from within all of your muscles.

Breathing deeply and calming and chilling out with each deep,

Perfect nap.

Counting down,

Five,

Relaxing deeper and deeper down,

So peaceful as you let it all go,

Four.

Breathing deeply and coolly into your lungs,

Filling you with pleasure throughout your whole body,

Three.

Going down deeper and deeper,

So relaxed now,

And one.

Go so deep now,

Allow yourself to,

So many feelings are washing over your whole body and just letting it all go.

Allow the air to flow just as it wants to in its tender way.

You can be emotional,

You can be free,

Your breathing is full of detoxifying and cleansing energy that washes over you with a total sense of relief.

The air has almost a lighter touch.

Notice your chest and abdomen rising and falling with each breath.

Briefly scan your body for tension of any kind.

Breathe into that area or areas,

Consciously sending it nutrient-rich air.

Continue breathing evenly and allow any tensions to release now,

Draining all of the discomfort.

You are doing so well with handling everything in your life and letting anything that does not serve you,

Just simply letting it drift right on by.

You enjoy the process,

Really feel your process.

You have the wisdom to appreciate the present time,

Instead of getting caught up in stress and rushing towards anything.

You have health and you are improving your health,

Slowly and surely,

Day by day,

Getting better and better.

You overcome many challenges and on top of that,

You do it with grace.

Your body thanks you for utilizing its potential and yoga is perfect for that.

Feel the earth in this moment,

Full of peace and clarity.

It feels so good to recognize the earth,

Whether it's digging your hands in the dirt or feeling the firmness of the ground under your mat,

As your weight is simultaneously pressing on it.

The force of gravity is rooting you down,

You are safe in the arms of the universe.

In this security,

Prepare yourself to go twice as deep now,

Twice as deep into this relaxation,

Letting go of your body completely,

Allowing your muscles to cool,

Once and for all.

Have only a minimal concentration on your breathing,

A cycle,

Subconsciously filling you up without any effort,

Mindfully balancing exertion and relaxation,

Keeps their spirit wild.

Throughout their life,

This wildness totally shows on your face,

Stalking you with youth and beauty.

How relaxed all the muscles in your face feel,

As if fingertips are smoothing outward along your brow.

Your temples slide towards,

Your temples are completely at rest and allow your forehead to go completely smooth as your beautiful brain.

Therefore,

Your face shows no stress and no concern,

Resting your actual skin.

Yes,

Your skin now is plump with a juicy restfulness,

Through the many layers of your skin,

Radiating to the surface,

Glowing outwards.

All over your cheeks feel a glow now,

A swirling light buzzing and shaking out any impurities,

Almost to a tickle as you melt away,

And have a slight micro-smile at the edges of your lips.

This is the face of a good life,

Of a person who knows love.

Feel a pressing sensation against your eyelids as they smooth as well.

It feels so good to rest the eyes,

Deep in the how beautiful you,

In the glow that is bathing your beautiful face,

At this very moment.

Feel the outside of your lips,

And smooth all your delicate skin.

Relax your jaw,

Relax your teeth.

Allow your teeth to separate,

And even the tongue to go totally soft.

You have circulated the tension out of your entire face,

Leaving it completely clean and decluttered.

Even still now,

All your face muscles continue to release.

So now relax your jaw all the way,

And feel the weight of it released from constraint.

Because you are practicing yoga within your life,

People notice you have a glow to you,

And it is obvious to them that you care for yourself,

And improve the lives of others in your family,

And in your community.

Yes,

You care about community,

And about the earth so much.

You take care of yourself,

So that you are prepared to interact with the world at large,

On the terms that suit you best,

And in the way that makes the maximum positive impact.

You have so many more interesting ideas in your lifetime that haven't even appeared yet.

There is much to look forward to,

And your patience and strength allows you to go,

And more relaxed in this state than ever before.

You are doing so well.

As I count you up in a moment,

From one to five,

You will reawaken into a bright and amazing feeling of pleasure,

Taking with you all of the relaxation,

As we begin to wake up now.

Counting up,

One.

Begin to allow your mind to awaken,

Easily and effortlessly,

Just as you want to.

And begin to move your body now,

Awakening now to a normal state.

Three,

You can take some continual nice deep breaths.

Four,

And begin to open your eyes.

And five,

Open your eyes all the way now,

And re-enter and slowly begin to deepen your breath again.

Feel your life force within you,

Gently signal to your body that it's time to flex your toes.

And begin to flex and stretch your fingers,

And wave your fingertips.

You may want to reach above your head,

And give a nice,

Big,

Full stretch of your whole body.

And keep breathing,

And on a full exhale,

Bring your knees into your chest,

And hug your knees.

You can roll your body very slightly from side to side,

Massaging your spine very good.

Now press your back right into the ground,

Filling all the curves and spaces.

When you're ready,

You can roll over onto your side,

Into a comfy fetal position.

Pause and breathe here.

While looking at the ground,

Help yourself up by slowly pushing with your arms,

To raise your body up to a seated,

Cross-legged position.

With the hands lightly resting on the knees,

With a relaxed,

Straight spine.

Breathing into the- Take a moment to observe how you feel.

You are ready.

Bring the palms together in front of the heart center.

Bow your head to your chest.

Namaste.

Until your next vica session,

Breathe deeply,

Do lots of yoga,

And be at total peace.
