Virtual Calisthenics Post-Workout Recovery In this FICA session we will rejuvenate your body,

Mind and spirit after exercise.

Let's take a moment to recalibrate and circulate the nice flowing energy you have generated during your workout.

Have a nice lie down on a yoga or gym mat or just right on the floor.

You've spent the last little while getting all fired up.

So now let's take a moment and luxuriate in that vitality so that when you leave the gym or workout area you'll not only feel great about today's body activity but your mind will also be pleasantly set at ease.

Lying on your back with your eyes closed,

Begin to take some nice,

Deep,

Easy breaths.

Maybe your breathing is still coming back to a normal rate after your exercise.

Time to cool down.

Imagine how good it will feel to come into a nice,

Relaxed state of comfort,

Letting any distractions from people,

Noise or movement drift right on by.

If you feel your attention beginning to wane,

Just bring your focus gently back to the sound of my voice as the music washes over you.

Begin a good stretch from deep within you of all of your muscles and feel how good it feels now to deeply let go of anything that's holding on.

Stretch now,

Fully extending your limbs all the way to your fingertips and toes outstretched.

And now relax.

Let it go.

Really let it all go.

Relax your body.

Dig your whole self in.

Be aware of you.

And as you breathe yourself even deeper now,

Releasing and relaxing it all.

You can just let it all go.

Your legs feel very heavy and allow your legs to lay apart.

Feel the ground against the bottom of your legs,

Smoothing out the muscles.

Allow your arms to relax completely by your sides.

They can be beside or away from your body.

Whatever feels comfortable for you.

Just let them hang loose and sink like heavy,

Wet towels.

So nice.

Breathing deeply,

Allow any discomforts to slowly melt away.

Nothing needs your attention and there is no need for you to do anything at this time other than to follow the sound of my voice as I transition you into a very deep and relaxed profound state of theta waves.

And now we are going to take it to a deeper level.

And I count you down now from five to one.

All I want you to do while I count you down is just let it all go and fully release from within all of your muscles.

Breathing deeply and calming,

Chilling out with each deep slow breath.

Perfect now.

Going down five,

Relaxing deeper and deeper down.

So peaceful as you let it all go for breathing deeply and coolly into your lungs,

Filling you with pleasure throughout your whole body.

Three,

Going down,

Down deeper and deeper.

Just letting it all go.

So relaxed as you drift so coolly and collected.

And one,

Go so deep now.

Good.

Allow yourself to be fully free as you breathe so calmly and coolly.

So many good feelings running through your whole body,

Rejuvenating,

Filling you with ease and setting you free.

Taking the time to reward yourself is important.

There are so many benefits to exercise,

Looking hot,

Living long and having healthy organs.

However,

Focus for a moment on the importance and the meaning of process.

There is no better way to feel alive and wild than working your body to the best of its ability.

Feel that life force within you.

This is your time to really feel the energy flow.

Be free.

Imagine and visualize now a glowing light at the bottom of your body,

Beginning at your feet,

Glowing warm around your ankles.

And now this cleansing light is rising up through your calves and into your knees.

So restored,

Glowing in your kneecap.

Picture this purifying light absorbing into your thigh and your lovely butt,

Opening your hips,

Allowing your hips to sink into the ground,

Detoxifying your hips and belly.

Take a nice breath direct to your belly to activate and swirl that light to send the glow around your entire digestive system.

Feeling the light expanding upwards,

Rising into your lungs,

Expand your lungs and circulate the light as it rises into your throat with which you have been breathing and continue to breathe nice and deep.

The light is in your face now,

Smoothing over your delicate skin of your lips.

Your jaw relaxes,

Drops down,

And your teeth separate.

Feel your temples slide towards the earth in complete,

Deep,

Profound relaxation,

Without a care in the world.

Feeling so beautifully peaceful,

Your eyelids become rounded and completely relaxed.

There is no concern on your brow or on your serene,

Weightless forehead.

Imagine a luminous light once more ascending in your face,

Right up to your hairline,

Rising above and washing over the curve of your head,

Right to the top of your head.

Your brain is so very light now.

Imagine all your worries and stresses just fly out the top of your head,

Soar away a fair distance,

Then dissipate completely,

Leaving you uncluttered,

Your mind lighter and clearer than before.

At the same time,

Energy continues to flow around your body with no blockages,

Flowing freely as you have nothing to worry about.

All you have to do is very simple.

Just lie here and feel your breathing become even deeper.

Feel the earth grounding you in this moment.

Full of peace,

Say to yourself,

I love myself and I love to relax into this state of peace.

And I let go more and more.

I allow myself to let go and to thrive,

Confidently and coolly.

Doesn't it just feel perfect to just let it all go?

You handle life with grace because you have a good relationship to your body.

Your body is beautiful in all stages of your process.

You are beautiful now.

And most importantly,

You are very strong in body,

Mind,

And spirit.

And your body thanks you for utilizing its potential and taking care of it.

What a positive cycle you have going on.

And you deserve it.

You are doing so well.

Let your muscles smooth out even further.

All your muscles are so relaxed now.

They feel as though they are melting away,

Just as they want to.

They are really loving this complete reset and recharge.

Integrating fresh neuromuscular information and really just letting go.

And as you do,

You go deeper.

Your brain produces deep theta waves for peak performance.

You have health and you are improving your health.

Day by day getting better and better.

The time you spend in this deep relaxed theta state is going to help you greatly in achieving your top performance during physical activity.

Take a moment to reflect on the intention you set at the beginning of your workout.

Was it strengthening?

Flexibility?

Detox?

Relaxation?

Cardio conditioning?

Muscle building or weight loss?

Or maybe a combination of these?

Or perhaps something completely different?

With any of these intentions,

A process occurs where you are spending valuable time integrating with your body.

And in the theta state,

You are accessing your subconscious mind.

Internalizing your goals and making them reality.

Feel your heart beating.

The physical challenges you perform are symbolic of how you overcome other challenges.

And you should be commended for the gusto that requires.

As you become aware of yourself,

You go deeper.

You release it all.

And instead of feeling boxed in,

You feel more spacious in your body.

And you may now even feel more free and peaceful as we continue.

You can invite your body to relax so deeply.

So very good.

Pure.

And this state of relaxation goes through you throughout your day.

And anytime you want to return to this relaxed theta state,

Say in your mind,

I am peaceful.

This body is love and I am love.

And I have a loving way about me where I extend love to others.

That is true beauty.

And now prepare to enter back into a normal waking state.

And as you do,

You can take all of the peace that becomes instilled into your subconscious mind.

Restoring and relieving your body.

And making you feel good all over.

Now waking up as I count you back up from one to five.

Ready?

One.

Breathing deeply.

Waking up.

And taking a nice stretch.

Two.

Waking up more and more.

And taking all the relaxation with you from this state.

You can begin to open your eyes and awaken into your day.

You feel good about yourself as you integrate more and more theta relaxation into your life.

And five.

Open your eyes and wake up.

And feel awake and aware.

Feeling rejuvenated,

Restored,

Released of tensions from your body.

And continuing to let go throughout your day.

And until your next vikas session,

Love yourself,

Relax yourself fully,

And be at total peace.
