Gently close the chapter on your workday and transition into rest. This meditation invites you to slow down, release mental effort, and let go of the day’s demands. Through breath and awareness, you create space to settle your nervous system and shift into a calmer, more relaxed state. Welcome to this meditation where we unwind from your work day so you can just switch off and actually come back to this very moment.

So I invite you to get comfortable,

You can sit down,

Lie down,

Whatever feels best for you and when you're ready just closing your eyes.

Let's just slowly start bringing our awareness to our breathing,

Not changing it,

Just observing until we start coming back into this very moment.

And with each breath slowing our breathing to a place where we start to feel relaxed.

And I know this might feel a little bit difficult depending on how full on your day is,

But as we continue through this meditation just notice how your body softens,

You start to relax and slowly start leaving the work day behind.

And so now I invite you to place your hand just on your chest and I want you to notice the warmth that you feel,

Noticing the contact,

Any sensations and I want you to imagine feeling your own energy.

Now this might sound a little bit weird but I really invite you to almost see if you can tap in to who you are at your core.

It's like the version of you that isn't the body.

Once again just trust and see if you start to feel anything.

It's who you are,

Deep down.

And now I also want you to imagine that all of the parts of you that have been left at work or throughout the day or the energy that you have given out to other people being pulled back into yourself.

All these different streams coming back into this very moment and I want you to do this with some real intention.

This almost isn't just like a fully relaxed experience of just like oh it's slowly drifting back in.

If that feels right to you that's okay but I really invite you to put some intention behind it and you're almost like commanding the energy to come back to you and coming back to almost that version of you,

That place of you that you know you are and can be and if your hand is still resting on your body and chest almost feeling it being pulled into that path.

So I really invite you to do that now and just experience it and just feel like you're being pulled into this very present moment.

And once you're here take as much time as you need to go through that until you truly feel like you're actually all here.

You're here in this very moment and now we want to pull our attention even further.

Now I want you to slowly start bringing your awareness to what's around you but still holding focus on you and the energy that you called in.

So it's almost just like you're feeling the environment around you.

Once again might sound a bit odd but just noticing and feeling the environment around you and noticing how you're here as a part of it as you're fully here in this very moment.

Not just part of you but all of you.

And so now slowly just noticing if you felt any tension building up throughout that meditation right as you're really pulling and calling yourself in.

Now we just want to slowly relax,

Soften the body,

Allow our shoulders to drop,

Allow our jaw to drop,

Allow our forehead to soften.

Just really sitting and feeling this moment of presence.

Acknowledging that there are other things that we'll be doing in the future but for right now it's okay to unwind,

Be here and continue your day with this energy.

And so just to finish up we're going to take three deep breaths in and out.

Breathing in the energy that we want for the rest of the day and breathing out anything we no longer want to hold on to.

So let's do those three now.

Deep breath in.

Deep breath in.

And the final one in your own time.

And so I wish you the best for the rest of your day.

Thank you.
