Welcome to this series of six Free Tracks, part of a soft launch for my 'Aligned With Purpose' course, which will launch in November. Journaling is more than just putting words on paper. It’s a way to process your thoughts, reflect on your emotions, and connect with your inner self more deeply. When you take time to journal each day, you’re giving yourself the space to pause and listen to what’s going on inside. This is where you can uncover insights about your purpose, clarify your feelings, and track your growth over time.

I'm so glad you've joined me today.

In my last two talks we explored morning mindfulness and the importance of moving your body intentionally.

Go check them out if you haven't already.

Today we're going to dive in to another powerful daily practice that will bring you even closer to living in alignment with your purpose.

Journaling for self-reflection.

Journaling is more than just putting words on paper.

It's a way to process your thoughts,

Reflect on your emotions and connect with your inner self on a deeper level.

When you take time to journal each day you're giving yourself the space to pause and to listen to what's going on inside.

This is where you can uncover insights about your purpose,

Clarify your feelings and track your growth over time.

To get started set aside 10-15 minutes a day for journaling.

Find a quiet comfortable space and begin by writing down anything that comes to mind.

There's no right or wrong way to do this.

Start with how you're feeling in the moment.

What's been on your mind lately?

What's challenging you?

What's bringing you joy?

Let the words flow freely.

One powerful journaling prompt I often recommend is to ask yourself what makes me feel most alive and fulfilled?

This question is key to uncovering your purpose because it points you towards what truly lights you up.

Another prompt could be where am I feeling stuck or disconnected and how can I realign with my values?

Through daily journaling you start to notice patterns in your thoughts and emotions which helps you gain clarity on where you are and where you want to go.

You'll begin to see how your desires and challenges shape your journey toward purpose and as you reflect you'll find answers that weren't always clear in the moment but become so much more obvious when written down.

Journaling isn't just about reflection though.

It's also about connection.

It helps you to connect the dots between your thoughts,

Emotions and actions.

You can start to see how everything in your life is interwoven and that awareness leads to deeper self-understanding.

In closing,

Make journaling a daily habit and watch it transform the way you understand yourself.

As you reflect and connect with your inner world you'll find more clarity and direction on your journey to aligning with your purpose.

Your journal becomes your trusted space where you can return to again and again and to listen to your heart and mind.

Tomorrow we're going to explore the power of gratitude and giving.

Gratitude is a practice that shifts your perspective and when paired with the act of giving it brings a whole new sense of purpose and fulfillment to your life.

I can't wait to guide you through this.

Until then,

Take some time today to journal,

Reflect and connect with your heart.

I'll see you tomorrow.
