So let yourself settle into your seat,
Your posture.
And start taking a few deeper breaths.
Resettle the body if it's helpful to shake for a moment and drop it if that if you need to.
It's helpful.
You can just do that again if your mind is.
Thinking a lot,
Or you can take some of those VAS breaths down to low belly just to settle the energy.
And then letting your breath settle into its natural rhythm.
And then we'll begin to bring to mind the field of care.
Too.
Practice invitation for today is to recall a kind moment.
And so our first option is a moment when we.
Really felt the kindness of another.
When we felt.
Deeply seen.
Or cared about.
Are seen in our goodness and potential.
So just letting your mind kind of reflect on some moments when you find a moment,
It could be recent,
It could be farther past.
Bringing this moment to mind.
It's a moment that makes you happy to recall.
Do the best of your ability,
Bring it to mind as if it's very freshly,
As if it's happening now,
Here and now.
Remembering how you felt,
Or if you're a visual thinker,
The image.
That moment.
And then we connect with the feeling.
We connect with the feelings that arise as we bring this moment freshly to mind.
Notice what's there,
If there's warmth.
Care,
Just noticing how you feel.
And as those feelings begin to become clearer,
You keep having this image in mind to refresh.
Those qualities and letting yourself receive.
I really like to imagine like this,
Like a heater,
Like a heater,
A little heater,
The sun.
This kind moment is like that,
And then I'm just,
My whole body is just receiving.
This warmth is soaking into every cell.
Every thought,
Every emotion.
Every part of me just receiving.
And being fully embraced and permeated by this warmth and kindness.
Once if you lose the connection.
With these qualities or the feeling,
You just can freshly recall this kind moment,
Or maybe another comes to mind.
And so we just keep vividly refreshing.
The image,
The felt sense as if it was here happening now.
And I really feel like there's a softening in the body to just receive.
You and your whole world held.
In this kindness.
As if you and your whole world was held in this kindness.
Love this instruction,
Just the reminder that.
Use this memory,
This image,
This kind moment.
As a bucket to draw up from the well.
The waters of compassion,
Warmth.
Unconditional.
Care.
We just drink the water.
We don't need to play with the bucket.
We can freshly recall it when we need to.
