The Square Breath is a simple technique to notice your breath, slow it down intentionally, and bring awareness to your body. Give yourself the gift of this moment. Simply inhale to 3, hold your inhale for 3 counts, exhale to 3, then hold your exhale for 3 counts. Repeat. We’ll practice this with these patterns: 3 in, 3 out. 3 in, 4 out. 4 in, 4 out. This square breath technique can be a helpful moment of respite, if you’re having a busy day, or experiencing challenging emotions.
