Welcome to this meditation.
Today we'll be talking about provision.
Before we dive in,
Let's take a moment to prepare your mind,
Your heart,
And your body.
Tell yourself it's okay to disconnect from the noise of your day,
Your social feed,
Or even the noise of your own thoughts.
Relax.
Get into a comfortable position and release the need to take the form of whatever you think a formal meditation practice looks like.
Instead,
Take any position that you naturally gravitate toward,
Any form that will allow you to and support you in connecting.
Whenever you're ready,
Close your eyes.
If that doesn't feel right to you,
Lower your gaze or softly focus on an object in front of you.
I want you to now take notice of your breath.
There's no need to change your breathing pattern just yet.
Sit with your breath as it is.
Try to observe things as they are without giving in to the instinctual desire to fix,
Shift,
Change,
Or force them into whatever you feel they should be.
Continue breathing at your own natural pace.
For every inhale,
You trust that there is an exhale.
In the same way,
For every problem,
There is a solution.
For every question,
There is an answer.
And for every need,
There is a source of fulfillment.
This relationship,
This exchange,
Is evidenced by every breath you take.
Now,
Let's get deeper into the role of the observer.
Here,
I invite you to take the biggest breath of your day.
Feel into the experience of drawing air into your nostrils.
Feel what it feels like for the breath to flow through your nose,
Travel down your throat,
And into your lungs.
Feel the connectivity of all these parts of you as you give yourself permission to take in all that is naturally your own.
As you hold your breath at the peak of your inhale,
Settle into the experience of what it feels like to receive the very nature of what keeps you going.
Deepen into the sense of fulfillment that comes with getting what you need.
Slowly,
Shift into the feeling of deep appreciation as you exhale,
Giving thanks for our body's inherent ability to do what it does without our interference.
Get lost in this cycle of receiving the breath,
Deepening into a sense of fulfillment,
And creating room for more as you exhale in gratitude.
When thoughts creep in and shift your focus from the breath,
Observe them,
Then release them,
The same way you release the breath.
Let thoughts become a passing fancy.
If you find it difficult to do so,
You may try asking yourself,
Who is thinking these thoughts?
Now there is no need to search for an answer.
This is just a way to remind ourselves that we,
At our core,
Are different from the being that gets caught up in worrying,
Doing,
Or even distracting.
Connect back to the cycle of inhaling and exhaling,
Receiving,
Feeling your needs met,
And expressing gratitude.
Twice more.
Inhale and receive,
Pause,
And feel the pleasure of provision.
Exhale and receive gratitude.
If you so desire,
You can release this pattern of breathing and return to your natural breath.
Now relax your attention and sink deeper into your own depths.
Here's what I want you to know for this week.
There is only truth to the teaching,
Ask and it will be given to you.
But in that asking,
You must exhibit full faith in the knowing that you will receive it,
The very same way you anticipate and exhale to each inhale.
There is no doubt,
And there is no version of this story where you aren't provided for.
Use the power of your focus,
Your intention,
And your faith to bring forth that which belongs to you.
Grace is provision,
And provision is grace.
Your provider looks favorably upon you and will never leave you wanting.
Use that as an opportunity to pause,
Reflect,
And investigate the strength of your faith.
Your power isn't in the acknowledgment of the lack,
But in the fervid belief of the inevitable provision.
For there is no lack nor limitation in the kingdom of God.
There is only the yes and amen,
There is only the it is done,
Only the ashay,
Only the so it is.
Be careful not to look to the future or even to the past.
Worrying about tomorrow or pining for days past will disconnect you from the present moment.
As one of our Ascended Masters,
Jesus the Christ shared,
Do not worry about tomorrow for each day has enough troubles of its own.
This life is a continuous practice of asking,
Receiving,
Acknowledging the fulfillment,
And expressing gratitude.
Here's an affirmation that I journey with.
I am divinely guided,
Protected,
And provided for.
Go forth with that,
Trusting that your needs are met and always will be.
