This meditation will allow you to go deep within yourself and connect with your breath. You will take a journey under the full moon, releasing what no longer serves you, and then balance your breathing with Sama Vritti breathing. Music: Paradise of Souls By: Music Of Wisdom

Welcome to this full moon meditation.

Thank you for joining me.

When you are ready,

You can find a seat with a tall spine.

Make sure that it's neutral and long or you can lie down and allow the back body to soften into support or the earth,

Whichever you choose.

Once you're there,

Soften your gaze or shut down the eyes.

Allow the shoulders to release.

The palms can face up to receive or down to ground.

Feel your body let go.

The back body burrows into the support beneath you.

Notice the sounds in the room,

The busyness in your mind.

Feel the air on your skin and then notice your breath moving through your body.

Allow the natural breath to move through you and in your mind see yourself in the middle of a forest,

Sitting or lying in the open area with forest trees surrounding you.

Hear the noises of nature.

Notice the night sky and the full moon shining down upon you.

Allow yourself to settle a little bit more and then gently exhale all the way out and once you're empty,

Feel the lower belly with your breath.

Bring it through the side ribs,

The heart,

All the way to the crown and then slowly release it through the mouth.

Do that one more time.

Inhale to the lower belly,

Fill the side ribs,

The heart,

All the way to the crown and then let it out.

Sigh it all the way out.

Now just allow your breath to naturally move through you as you sink further into the space and the forest,

Basking underneath the bright moonlight and as your breath moves through you,

Release what needs to be let go with the breath.

Inhale,

Bringing it all to the surface and then exhale,

Letting it all go.

Inhale,

Bringing it all to the surface.

Exhale,

Let it go.

Take a few more breaths this way,

Allowing whatever needs to arrive to arrive and whatever needs to release to release.

Feeling a little bit lighter,

Allow yourself to soften a bit more.

Returning back to just your natural breath,

Noticing the natural rhythm of your breath.

Is your inhalation longer or shorter than your exhalation?

With a slow and steady inhalation,

Draw into the body for six counts and then without pausing,

Slowly release it for six.

Slowly inhale for six counts and then slowly release for six.

Take several more rounds of breath this way,

Inhaling for six and releasing for six.

Slowly release the count and feel the breath adjust.

Feel the cool forest air on your skin.

Notice the beautiful moon shining down upon you,

The stars in the sky and release whatever needs to be released that is hanging on right now.

Let it go.

Allow the breath to become deeper as the body starts to awaken by wiggling the fingers and the toes.

Start to take bigger movements.

Maybe move your head from side to side,

Open your mouth,

Take a big body yawn.

Thank you for joining me today.

It is always such a pleasure.

Honor your past,

Accept your present,

Trust your future and always always lead with love.
