Hi friend!

My name is Jen and I am a psychic medium and an intuitive tarot reader.

Today I am so excited to teach you about your life path card that is nestled in the major arcana of the tarot.

So make sure you grab your favorite deck along with a journal and something to write with.

Let's start by calculating your life path number.

Don't worry,

It's not overly complicated and trust me,

I am not a numbers person.

So you're going to take your birthday and add up each individual digit.

For example,

If your birthday is January 11,

2011,

You add 0 plus 1 plus 1 plus 1 plus 2 plus 0 plus 1 plus 1.

And in this example,

The total is 7.

If your birthday adds up to a two digit number,

Then you add each of those two digits together which then equals 3.

Make sense?

Feel free to pause the audio here while you crunch the numbers.

So now that you have your life path number,

Let's see which energy within the tarot you are meant to embody in this life.

So we're going to start with the number one,

The Magician.

If you have your tarot deck out,

Feel free to find the Magician now and even if that is not your corresponding life path number,

It's still really interesting to take a look and follow along.

So with the Magician,

If the Magician,

The number one arcana card,

Is your life path number,

Let's take a look at the qualities here.

So the Magician is a master manifester.

They have all the tools available to them.

You could see that they have the sword,

Which is air,

The pentacles,

Which is earth,

The wand,

Which is fire,

And the cup,

Which is water.

They're surrounded by growth and abundance and beauty.

They've got one arm up in the air,

One arm down.

So they're able to take that which they receive and create something with it.

Number two is the Empress.

I'm sorry,

The High Priestess.

The High Priestess is intuitive.

High Priestess represents that inner stillness,

That looking within,

That trusting yourself.

Looking within,

Tapping into your inner knowing.

Number three is the Empress.

The Empress is surrounded by abundance and growth.

Oftentimes you'll see her pregnant.

So she is physically growing,

Someone in her body.

She herself is growing.

She is very comfortable and relaxed.

In my deck,

Her shield is down,

So she is not on the defensive.

She is very comfortable and safe as well.

Number four is the Emperor.

The Emperor,

In my deck,

His sword is down.

He does not feel the need to defend himself and his beliefs.

He has done the work in my deck.

Also,

There are mountains behind him.

So he has been through it,

And he is a leader,

And he leads by example with clarity and precision and confidence.

Number five is the Hierophant.

So the Hierophant typically means societal expectations,

Religious structure,

Organized religion.

In this case,

If the Hierophant is your life path number,

You might be encouraged to rewrite your own beliefs.

You might be encouraged to rewrite your own expectations,

Scrap what you have been given or what you've been indoctrinated with,

And to wipe the slate clean,

And you be the authority over yourself and your life.

Okay,

Number six is the Lovers.

Lovers is about companionship,

Of comfort in relationship,

Of being open to relationship.

Even with yourself,

There might be discomfort that you experience in looking inward at yourself.

This could relate to your higher self,

Tapping into your intuition.

But a lot of the time,

It does have to do with relating to someone else and to being vulnerable with someone else.

Number seven is the Chariot.

The Chariot is all about movement,

About up-leveling,

About transition.

You might be somebody who feels very safe in the status quo,

In staying where you are,

In fear of moving on,

Fear of moving forward.

But there is a lot to be said for taking that leap,

Right?

Taking a chance and moving forward bravely ahead.

Number eight is Strength.

And Strength is a balance card,

Finding balance in that grit and determination,

That inner strength and resilience,

But also being compassionate towards yourself,

Also being soft while also being strong.

And lastly,

It's number nine,

The Hermit.

The Hermit represents retreat and solitude,

Taking time to look inward and to learn about yourself,

To meditate on what is going on around you.

It is where you get away from the busyness of the world to take a breath,

To be in silence,

And to be alone with yourself and with your thoughts.

And so in this case,

You may be somebody who is not comfortable being alone.

You may be somebody who cannot go get coffee by themselves.

You might be someone who feels the need to be with people all the time and that you might be afraid to be alone.

But you might be somebody also who has mastered the Hermit,

If you're anything like me.

So those are the nine major arcana cards that correlate to the Life Path numbers.

And so understanding your Life Path card is honestly a really great tool to use along your spiritual awakening journey and your healing journey.

As you meditate on it,

You may notice qualities within that card that you already embody,

That you're like,

I'm crushing it,

It's all good.

But you might also notice qualities that you're like,

You know what,

I am really working towards embodying that energy,

Towards owning that energy,

And being confident in that energy.

And the thing is,

There is no point where you're like,

Did it,

Done,

Next please.

You know,

This is a lifelong journey of becoming,

A lifelong journey of stripping layers of ourself away,

That we're either put on us by us,

Or by other people,

And taking away that which really doesn't align with what we know to be true inside.

So every single step matters.

And there are going to be phases in this journey of becoming.

But today,

I would like you to take your journal,

And to take that card that corresponds with your Life Path number.

And I want you to look at your card.

Look at it.

Look at the colors.

Look at the symbolism.

What do you feel from the card?

If you want,

You can close your eyes as you hold the card,

Or it sits near you.

You can take time and meditate with this card.

There is always going to be something new that you take away every time that you look at this card.

Depending on the day,

You can hold on to it,

You can look at it,

And you will get a new gift from that card.

And for me personally,

My Life Path card is number three,

The Empress.

And so when I am having a particularly tough day,

And I'm not feeling safe in my body,

Or in my circumstances,

I look at this card,

And I just let it speak to me.

And that is a significant but very small piece of my healing journey.

And I hope that this exercise is a tool for you to use on your healing journey.

So enjoy.

Enjoy this time looking at your card.

And I encourage you to then do a little journaling,

A little journaling sesh.

Write down,

What are the things about this card that I identify with now?

Do I feel any resistance to any of the images in this card?

And if you do,

Then maybe just like,

Wonder about that.

Why do I feel that like feeling in my stomach when I look at this image?

Or conversely,

Why do I feel so happy and lit up when I see this image?

What scares me about this card?

What excites me about this card?

And let it take you from there.

Release the need for structure.

Am I doing this right?

Am I doing this wrong?

And just enjoy this exercise.

So I recommend that you maybe get yourself a nice cup of tea,

Or coffee,

Or whatever.

Put on some really relaxing music and enjoy a little journaling sesh.

And I hope that you enjoyed this little lesson.

And I look forward to seeing you again next time.

Thanks,

Guys.
