Hi there,

It's Coach Jennie with Mama Needs a Refill.

This guided meditation is just for those of you who are feeling ungrounded,

Unrooted,

Perhaps overwhelmed and distracted by all that's going on in the world or all that's going on in your life.

So let's take a moment to come home to yourself,

To connect to your wisdom within,

And to get rooted.

Invite you to find a comfortable place to sit or to lay down and set down anything that's a distraction.

In a moment I will count you down from one to ten and like any guided meditation your brain does not know the difference between a real or an imagined event.

So what you experience here with visualization,

With tapping into your own wisdom is real and it's meant to grow you and nurture and bless you.

One,

You are letting go and you are coming home to your breath.

Two,

You are dropping your shoulders,

You are wiggling your body just a little bit more to get a little more comfortable.

Three,

You are softening.

Four,

You are tuning into my voice and you are letting go of any distractions of your brain.

You are turning off your monkey mind and you are coming home to yourself.

Six,

You are relaxing any tight muscles.

Seven,

If you notice a body sensation that perhaps can use some spaciousness,

You are sending your breath there now.

Seven,

You are sinking deeper into your seated or laying down position.

Eight,

You are breathing naturally and calmly,

You are breathing the way you want to feel.

Nine,

You are letting go just a little bit more.

And ten,

You are calm,

You are present,

You are mindful and you are ready to receive.

I invite you to imagine in your mind's eye a place in nature.

This can be a place you have visited in your past or it can be a place of your imagination.

Either is just perfect.

I invite you to notice at least one tree if not many trees in this place in your brain,

In your imagination.

Notice the temperature,

It's just as you like it.

It's a beautiful day,

Your favorite kind of weather.

And it's just you and the trees out in nature.

It doesn't matter what kind of trees you see.

I do invite you though to put your attention on a tree that is just out in front of you,

Maybe 20 feet or so in your mind's eye.

It can be a palm tree,

An evergreen,

It can be a combination of all,

A pear tree,

A willow,

A birch,

The type of tree doesn't matter,

This is your tree.

Even 20 feet away you're noticing the energy and it's beckoning you forward.

I invite you to walk toward your tree.

You are already relaxed by being in the presence of this tree,

The energy that it's putting off,

The oxygen that's there for you to breathe,

All coming from your tree.

Notice if there's a place for you to sit down so you can lean up against the tree perhaps or just be in its aura,

In its energy,

Whether you're leaning against it or facing it is up to you.

But just breathe a little more gently,

Breathe a little more easily as you take in and receive the energetic,

Vibrational,

Loving force of this tree.

You might have a smile on your face because you feel at peace and you're happy to be in this serene environment.

You may notice that you're not alone,

There may be other creatures,

Birds singing,

Rabbits running by,

Maybe a deer.

Notice any creatures that are here with you.

Take in their loving energy,

They're not there to harm you,

They're there to teach you,

They're there to serve you,

To bless you.

So just notice what other creatures are with you and your tree.

You may also notice besides the nature,

Besides any animals or bugs or birds,

There may be a spirit,

An energetic being who is with you.

Could be a loved one who's gone on before you,

Could be someone who's helped you in the past,

It could be one of your guides,

One of your ancestral loving guides.

So just notice now if anyone else is with you.

They're only here in love,

They're here to support you.

Only unconditional beings of love are welcome in this space.

Just relax with your tree,

Notice who or what is with you and I invite you to come up with a question that you want to ask your tree.

The tree spirit is here to guide you,

To teach you,

To help you.

So whatever's going on in your world right now that you need guidance with,

Ask,

Ask right now,

Ask your question.

Maybe your question begins with how.

How do I get out of this stuck place in my life?

How do I move forward?

How do I receive love?

How do I get out of my own way?

Come up with your question and ask it now.

Whatever it is,

It's perfect and if it's more than one question,

Just allow it.

Whatever needs to percolate will come up and now is your time to receive,

To receive that wisdom from your tree,

Any of the creatures or spirits with you.

You're being guided by your internal compass.

Listen for your resolution.

Listen for your next step.

Listen for the guidance.

In a moment we're going to return from this experience but right now I invite you to take a moment to be in gratitude.

Thank the bugs and the birds and the bees,

Whomever joined you,

Your ancestral guides,

Your own wisdom,

Your future self,

And your tree.

Give thanks for this time to be nourished.

The roots that grow you are the things that you value.

For example,

Love,

Joy,

Peace,

Calm,

Maybe even something like movement or dancing or singing.

These are your roots that want to be watered by your soul and by your spirit.

So pay attention to what wants to be nurtured by you and you can even ask your tree spirit how to do that.

How can I water and bless and nurture my roots daily?

The next time you feel unrooted I invite you to stop and root.

You relax.

You connect to what needs to be nurtured.

You observe your breath.

You allow what you're feeling to be felt.

You open your heart and you open your mind and you trust.

You trust the unfolding.

You entrust your wisdom and guidance within and you honor what needs to be nurtured and honored.

This is how you root.

I'm going to count you back from 10 to 1 and when you hit 1 you will be alert.

You will remember exactly what you need to remember who visited you on this journey and your medicine and your guidance and your inspiration and motivation that you're taking with you.

So 10,

You are in gratitude for who visited you.

9,

You're excited to get back to your regular life just a little more rooted,

A little more grounded.

8,

You're wiggling your toes,

Maybe shaking out your legs.

7,

Gently moving your arms and wiggling your fingers.

6,

Ever so gently you're dropping your neck from one shoulder to the next very gently.

5,

You're rolling your shoulders back,

You're rolling your shoulders forward.

4,

You are getting ready and thinking about opening your eyes.

3,

You're moving your body gently,

Stretching your arms overhead,

Stretching any part of you that needs to be stretched.

2,

You're gently and softly opening your eyelids to the light of day.

1,

You are fully alert,

Your eyes are opened,

You're continuing to stretch,

You're continuing to be in gratitude.

You are rooted and you are aligned and ready for the next thing that comes.

Whatever comes your way,

You are ready because you know what routes to water,

You know what to honor,

You're feeling grateful and blessed and you are not alone.

You are fully and completely whole,

You are rooted and grounded and I thank you for taking this time to be with me and most importantly to be with yourself,

To come home to yourself and to root.

So may you go on with the rest of your day rooted and at peace.

All is well.
