This Affirmation Meditation uses words or phrases to embrace positive thinking and self-empowerment. Affirmations can shift your thought process to change negative thoughts into positive ones. By repeating words or phrases in your head or aloud, you allow them to seep into the subconscious mind, altering your thought patterns.

Transcript

Find a comfortable position within your space.

You can either sit or lie in for a few moments.

It could be in a chair with your feet grounded onto the floor beneath you.

Maybe it's sitting on the floor across like it's style or even lying down on your back.

Anywhere that feels good that allows you to just pause for a few moments.

Draw your pointer finger and thumb together.

It's believed in meditation that meditating with your fingers together like this holds energy within the body,

Not allowing it to be released.

If you're lying down,

Let your hands rest gently by your side.

If you're seated,

Let your palms rest facing up on your knees.

Close your eyes if you haven't already.

Begin to draw your attention and awareness to your breath as you inhale through your nose and exhale through your nose.

Take another breath just like that.

Inhale through your nose.

Exhale through your nose.

I will begin to repeat several affirmations that you can use throughout your day.

These affirmations are statements that we repeat to ourselves in our conscious mind.

Our conscious mind transmits those ideas to our subconscious and will help to shift your focus to become a little bit more full of gratitude or positivity if you're feeling a little stressed or anxious within your life.

I will repeat these affirmations as I read them,

Say them to yourself either in your head or aloud if you have enough privacy within your space.

I wake up and feel positive about the day ahead.

I am full of life and energy.

I give up what no longer serves me,

Creating space for what inspires me.

I am courageous,

Bold,

And strong.

I am grateful for all my past has taught me.

I am free of worry.

I have enough.

I do enough.

I am enough.

I express deep gratitude for my health.

Every day is a new day full of hope,

Happiness,

And health.

My challenges are new opportunities to grow and improve.

Use these affirmations throughout your day,

Repeating them to yourself either aloud or within your head.

Perhaps if there's one that really sticks with you,

You write it down as a reminder to yourself.

When you need a little bit of inspiration throughout a difficult situation,

You can come back to these words and phrases.

Inhale through your nose.

Exhale through your nose.

Inhale through your nose.

Exhale through your nose.

Inhale.

When you're ready,

Begin to come back into your physical body.

Begin to draw small movements into your fingers and your toes.

Maybe you rock your head from side to side.

Stretch whatever feels right to you.

Take your focus off of your breath and come back to the space that you're either sitting or lying within.

If you haven't already made it there,

Start to make your way up to an easy seat.

When you're ready,

Blink open your eyes.

Remember,

You can come back to these words of affirmations throughout your day at any time.

Use them to help guide you to shift your mindset throughout your day and into the rest of your week.
