Aging Wisely: New Vision Of Happiness
As we age, and move into a life post-career, perhaps with mature families, we may find that the vision of happiness that has guided us all of our lives no longer satisfies. And yet, no new vision instantly presents itself. In this transitional space between who we used to be and who we are yet to fully become, it’s natural to feel some trepidation, to feel a bit lost. A challenge for many of us, then, is to develop a new sense of happiness by which to guide our actions. Now, with greater freedom and perhaps greater wisdom, we can reflect upon our past and current states and, in mindful awareness, tap into our felt sense to foster a deeper way of knowing than our rational minds can offer to become aware of a new vision of happiness.
